Never forget the basics of education

Let not forget the basics because I believe that education is highly rated as the thing that constitutes self growth. It is us who pour out our minds in the area that, all educated people should be employed, yet it does not guaranteed that anymore, maybe, back then it does, but right now, the knowledge gotten is what you got.

I have a friend who never for once paid any of his fees in school, he was not taking his studies serious, he used those money in eating in big eatery's that was around, and also in buying new fashion dresses, the deal is, he was one of those top guys in the department, and they love sitting at the back of the class, disturbing each time we had lectures.

On the day we have this conversation, he told me he does not want a certificate as at that time, but he will begin the training of driving big truck's, because he needs money not certificate, and maybe, in the future he will come back to continue his study's from where he stopped it.

Talking about me, I think as at time, i can not make a decision like that, because my parents will be angry, and that was the last thing i will stand to watch.

Yet it does not also means i had the full understanding of what he was doing, because growing up, i was told to study well, because the leaders of tomorrow must be an intelligent person, to be frank, I do not think they were wrong with that statement, because if a person can not read and write, how can he/she even coop in this world.

Mostly we hear people talking about education not being the giver's of opportunities to people in the society, but does it mean we are now forgetting the basics which it helps us to read and write?

sometimes I will just think that, maybe, we will have still be able to read and write even without education, but we know that it can not be possible without it.

I was at a bank few years ago, and i saw a guy who was well dress, remember we are to dress the way we want to be addressed, so he was at the counter, and as well, wanted to cash some money from his account, the other person was at his back, and what happened was that, he took the teller to the other guy and asked him to filled as he say.

You can see the inconveniences he caused to himself and to another person when the both of them should be doing different tasks, but because he can not write very well, he had to go to the bank with someone who can help him with reading and writing.

And if that person wanted to do something as at that time, he will have to forget about it, and follow him to the bank. Then after he cash his money at the counter, the guy who came with him was the person who read the available balance in his account to him through his phone.

This is a very good aspect of life that education help us, but people have forgotten about it, i think we should sometimes look at the good side of things.
