Crypto, Community & Investments - Things I Have Learnt On Hive

I've said it before and I'll continue to say it, my joining Hive has been one of my best decisions as it has not only helped set off my bills when I'm in need, it has also helped build myself to becoming better in a lot of areas. I know so much today because I made the decision to join Hive more than two years ago.

Who wouldn't have thought that decision would have this much impact in my life today?

And who would have thought I'd learn this much by just being active here?

More than a blessing to me, Hive is a teacher, and the purpose of this post is to share the important ones I've learnt from being an active member of the Hive Blockchain.

The impact of Hive in my daily life didn't start today as I had to learn through stages, understand some things and learn to abide some few rules to feel those impact Hive had to offer. One thing one must always understand joining Hive is that, it comes with learning every single thing that comes your way if not, you will miss it and be lost in this big blockchain.

Thanks to the one who introduced me to Hive, I got the first and most important tip to be active as much as possible on Hive and explore different areas. This steps have helped to know what I know today and they are "Cryptocurrency, Community & Investments". I'll give more details on what Hive has taught me about these three.

Hive has taught me what Cryptocurrency (Web 3) is

It's still a surprise to me how much I know about this word (Cryptocurrency) that I had once saw as a too complex word to understand or even get involved with. Hive played a big part in teaching me a lot about it as I explored a lot of contents that kept teaching me in very simple ways what they are. The only Cryptocurrency I knew before I joined Hive was Ethereum but you won't believe I didn't know it was a Cryptocurrency and I thought Cryptocurrency and coins are different things entirely 😅

On Hive, I have learnt about different Cryptocurrencies, a lot good ones that have given me good profits and the ones I've been bad at. It's all learning and it has been more knowledge than a loss to me.

Hive has taught me what a community (Connection) is

Everyone of knows how deserted a new account can seem at the start of a journey here on Hive considering the fact that the newbie have no followers, or even aware of how to go about making the account known on Hive. I'm yet to achieve that height even after two years on Hive but I won't say I haven't learnt so much about what belonging to a community can do to an account. Hive gave me Leofinance community when I needed a place to share my thoughts on crypto contents and learn through them, Hive gave me Neoxian city when I needed to share my thoughts through casual chats and Hive gave me more communities to diversify.

I have built some connections around Hive even though not as strong as others have but these connections have helped me become a better Hiver here and a better person offline. There's nothing much stronger than having people who have your back always. Hive taught and gave me that.

Hive has taught me how to invest in the most simplest ways

When I say Hive has taught me investment, I wish there is a way to make it well emphasize as I had never been the saving type talk more if investing (Having my money somewhere for a long time to earn). I was a bad spender until I joined Hive and got into the investment spirit little by little. To think that I had never liked or never learnt how to invest, I'm still surprised at the condition of my Hive wallet today. Hive didn't just teach me investment, it taught me how, when, and why I should invest thanks to different contents I do read from.

I'm not among the best investors out there but with how far I've come and how much I've learnt, I can only get better from here and I have Hive to thank for the opportunities it gave me to learn. I believe I could even do a few more offline with better skills if I do get the chance.

Hive has been life changing for me and I'm honoured to have learnt a lot from you all who have been part of Hive to make my experience here a great one.
