WHY I PREFER ANDROID SMARTPHONES TO IOS DEVICES

Hello hivers, it's another #hiveghana weekly prompt and trust the team to release interesting topics that makes us member engage and air our opinions. This week is about our preferences between either the IOS and ANDROID, truly this has been an issue amongst most people while some prefer apple devices others prefer the Android version of smart phones. Everyone with their opinions but for me I prefer to have the android version. Even if I was using an iPhone, I believe I will still have an android smartphone by my side to avoid some complicated situations.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN IOS AND ANDROID
From the little I know, IOS can only be found in apple devices, that is iPhone and tablets. Currently, we have the latest ios running on 16,most of these Apple devices are quite expensive because they claim to be a superior brand. Even their recently released iPhone 15 promax is sold for over #2000000(2 million).

I am very familiar with Android smartphone and this can be found in various brands of smartphones like Samsung, gionee, infinix, tecno, xiaomi and so on. It's latest version is running on Android 13 with new release. In Nigeria, Android phones are becoming expensive due to the hike in the exchange rate. What is supposed to pass as budget phone is now as high as a midrange phone and so on.

WHY I PREFER ANDROID DEVICES
I am been an ardent user of the android smartphone for quite a while, even when I had to use a UK iPhone, it didn't last 6momths because for me I prefered brand new smartphone and to stick with what I can afford. Reasons why i like android to IOS:

• Google Android devices are easy to manipulate and operate in so many ways. I remember one time in school we were supposed to transfer some ebooks and documents from a friend's laptop to our phones. With my android phone I did it easily then, but when it got to the other persons turn there was difficulty in sending the files directly I think it has something to do with the connection from android and Apple devices. Instead of getting it for free, she had to go download them directly.
• Android devices are affordable to get. Atleast with a 100k, you would get a good smartphone that would carry out your everyday task with good storage. Just like new tecno released devices, for just that amount you can get 4gb/128gb with good user interface. You are also open to a lot of choices be it Samsung, Huawei, xiaomi and so on. Also, with just 50k you can get a device. Although there are really expensive Android devices but there is one for people with any budget.
• Great battery capacity. Most Android phones these days comes with Atleast 5000mah and they can last a whole day under heavy usage. Unlike the iPhones which comes less below 4500mah. The newly released iPhone 15 comes with a 3,349mah for 2 million naira.
• On my android device I am opening to a variety of apps without restrictions. I really don't have to download from Google play store.

Finally, because I enjoy using the android device does not mean I cannot use the IOS device, they are unique in their own ways. For instance, camera wise, Iphones take clear and stabilized pictures.
