HOW MUCH I FEAR POVERTY.
Greetings everyone!
Fear is a limitation that may hinder us from achieving our short or long term goals. Fear is a crippling emotion, one that we must not entertain or give in to as it could lead to panic attacks, anxiety and much more.
If there is one thing I fear most in life, that would be poverty. Yes, poverty because I had some first hand experiences from my early years and they were not palatable at all.
My first experience was while growing up under my paternal grand-mother's care, like I stated in my introductory post. I have series of memories of her trying to put food on the table for me but she was finding it difficult to do so.
It really got worse to a point where I had to hawk. Oh! I hawked a lot of things from nylon water to satchet water to bitter kola, kolanut, palm oil and alot of other things.
On several occasions while I was hawking I have caught her complaining and stating her fear of me going wayward, learning bad habits or even worse being molested or taken advantage of.
I hawked those things not because my grandmother was comfortable with me hawking them but because she was afraid of not being able to meet my needs and I didn't want her to worry herself so much. "Was she able to?" All I can say is that she really tried her best
My second experience was during covid19 pandemic lockdown. I practically had to cut down on portions of every of my children's need and this action really made me feel less of myself as a mother.
As an adult, I am doing everything possible to make sure poverty does not affect my family in anyway by doing alot of legit and long time investment which will be bringing in dividends in the nearest future and educational trust funds for my boys.
Thanks for reading.

Your fear of poverty is warranted especially with all you experienced while living with your mom. This is why you need to make wise hustles to combat it. I like your plans for investment a lot. Well done👍
Thanks alot for understanding
You're welcome
I feel honored
Sometimes we do things not because we want to, but because we have bills to pay.
You really understand my point of view. Thank you.
This is amazing
Poverty is the enemy of 99% of the worlds population.
It comes with so many effects attached and so it has to be feared
