@steevc just finished a 6.79km walk, that lasted for 67 minutes.
This walk helped steevc burn 977.0 calories.

Description from Strava:
As my friend @livinguktaiwan was going to be over from the West Country she suggested having a meetup in London. We used to have these fairly often, but it has been a while. I can easily get a train into town, so of course I was interested.

My old friend @adetorrent said he could come. @nicklewis was going to be there, but had car trouble, so it ended up with just three of us.

Friday was really wet, but it was not too bad as I walked to the station. I got the train to Farringdon and then walked past Smithfields Market and the Barbican to the venue near Liverpool Street Station. That is not an area I know too well, but I could see there had been a lot of development. We met at Mr Fogg's Tavern which is part of a chain of bars. It was a modern building, but themed around Victorian times with lots of knickknacks. I assume they are named for the character in Around The World in 80 Days.

Hivers (not a great photo)

Ade has lots of photos in his post. I liked how he asked the servers if they accepted $HIVE. You can pay with crypto in some places in London, but not these.

We had a great chat ranging over the years we have been on this blockchain that brought us together. There have been so many people who came and went with various 'scandals'. It is like the wild west in many ways.

After a drink we went to Spitalfields Market where there were a few food stalls. I was going to have a burrito, but they had run out of veggie sauce, so it changed to a quesadilla with cheese and halloumi.

The rain had stopped by the time I walked back to the station. I need to go back and explore some more in daylight.

I hope we can have some more meetup events as they are always fun. I will get to any I can.

I was logging this walk for the Move-ember challenge at work. I did log the walk at my end, but Strava did not like that I took the train and so I had to crop it.

That's a good gathering and it's great that some places there accept crypto, here no one does

Nice to see all three of you at the same place! Now, you just have to convince @adetorrent to come visit some of the next meetups outside the UK... We are waiting for all of you in Alicante, Spain, next year! 🍻

Hi @steevc, so glad you were able to have that meet-up. In that place, they’ve no idea about crypto payments, they’re still living in the Victorian era, haha!

After burning all those calories on the walk, 😅 a quesadilla with cheese and halloumi tastes like food of the gods, doesn’t it?

;) Whenever Hivians meet, something truly significant unfolds.

Hello everyone good morning good afternoon good evening where ever you are around the world 🌎 🌍 🌍 🌍 🌍

As many of you know I was downvoted on Hive by the biggest farmers on Hive 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂

They think I care about rep on Hive when it means nothing in the real world 😂😂😂😂😂

It's mad how the ones doing the downvoting are farming Hive with armies of alt accounts 😂 😂

They selfvote there own shit post's and projects 😂😂😂

They like to talk a whole lot of shit 💩

But they can't Face the truth so in this post you can find the truth

This is part 3 Hive is done please do check out the previous parts

I make one big post soon I think I need to do a few more parts first

The thing is I've been called a spammer and all sorts of things but words mean nothing 😂😂😂😂

Especially when they are coming from scammers farmers downvoting racist people 😂😂😂😂

It's still so hard to believe that blocktrades is behind buildawhale usainvote and other accounts that are actively destroying Hive 😂 😂

Hive has the tech but not the brain's at the top

It's crazy that acidyo tells people about selfvoting whilst selfvoting his shit projects 💩 everyday 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Themarkymark is running the buildawhale comment farm for his master Blocktrades 😂 😂 😂

It's so funny how themarkymark account has a free pass the same as acidyo 😂😂😂😂😂😂

It's not hard to tell who is running Hive 😂😂😂😂😂
