Morning Run: Fallen leaves

@steevc just finished a 15.29km run, that lasted for 92 minutes.
This run helped steevc burn 1229.0 calories.
Description from Strava:
We were out for most of yesterday, but have things to do at home today. I still started the day with my traditional longer Sunday run. I decided to do the loop over to Letchworth this time.
I altered the route a little by going by the road in Fairfield instead of around the outside path. I usually see some Halloween decorations there at this time of year, but I may have missed them. Then it was onto the long straight road to Standalone Farm. I did not go over to the track by the farm this time as I stay by the road up to the three roundabouts. That was slightly further and matches the local 10k race. I think they have updated the Letchworth sign recently.
The road through Letchworth goes up and down a bit. I did not divert off it this time for a change. That means I can check out some other big houses. I went on through Norton and then to Radwell Meadows.
I came back the direct route though Stotfold as I could see the distance would be enough. As I came into Arlesey a group of guys were running the other way at a quick pace. I doubt I could have kept up with them.
It was a nice run overall, if a little slower than I would like. I have to fit in runs where I can, so I will sometimes run on consecutive days and my legs need time to recover.
It is Remembrance Sunday so things were being set up by our village war memorial. We have a little parade of ex-military and the scouting groups. It used to start near our house, but they now go from the other end of the village. They have a good day for it.
Enjoy your Sunday and run free!

Hi @steevc! I find it a relaxing part of my Sunday to see your long-run post using @strava2hive.
I’m coming to learn more about the towns are around where you are in the UK, but Letchworth is new to me. Perhaps one or both of us have to play music there for me to learn more! 🪕

Letchworth is a nice place and the first garden city, as the sign says. Plus it has the first roundabout. If you watch the file The World's End you will see a few locations there as well as some from Welwyn Garden City. They have an independent cinema and some nice shops.
Keep going, you're smashing your training at the moment and getting stronger every day.

STOPSeems a beautiful path during this season with all the fall theme surrounding you ;)
Hope your legs feel better after that long distance.
It's good to have war memorials, people should think more about that
