Morning Run: And I will run 1000 times...

@steevc just finished a 7.52km run, that lasted for 43 minutes.
This run helped steevc burn 499.0 calories.
Description from Strava:
Actually I have done 821 runs on Strava plus some walking, cycling and swimming to get to 1000 activities. Maybe I need a rest, but I have to support my team on the work distance challenge so I will log more walks. I hit 150 parkruns at the weekend.
I also hit a mini milestone on Hive with 150,000 Hive Power. That was my target for the end of the year, so I will zoom past that. The price is not great, but it is still a good platform for blogging that also has some cool games.
I have had computer 'fun' this week. I did an update on my Ubuntu Linux system after which the system would lock up a few minutes after I logged in. I also had some graphical glitches. I decided it was time for a fresh install as the system can build up issues over time. Last night I used my Linux laptop (ex-MacBook) to download the 7GB image and put it on a flash drive. The whole process took a couple of hours, but now I have a system that seems more stable. I keep my data on separate partitions to the operating system to make life easier. I just need to set up a few things, but I have logged back into various services already.
Oh, and I also ran today. It was quite mild out there, so I did not need extra layers. I did the usual loop and after I got warmed up I tried to keep the pace up. My legs were still a little stiff from the weekend. I saw a couple of my parkrun friends out there.
I went for it on the 1km downhill stretch to get a reasonable pace. Then I got a personal record on another stretch without trying to. I think I could improve a few of my times on local stretches and I will aim to be quicker generally. The overall pace was consistent with recent runs.
Run free and Hive five!

Congratulations, Steve in all of the milestones!
Seems very impressive. I couldn't run ONE time! Ahaha I can say that I have a huge problem with that, but I love to make long walks, has I previously mentioned once.
150,000 Hive Power! Wooowww
Celebration, time!
We should each do what we can to stay healthy. It's a few years since I started running, but before that I couldn't do it for long and would be wrecked afterwards. I don't go to a gym, so this is my workout.

Hello everyone I hope you are all good and well today in this post is some of the evidence to prove my case
If you didn't know I've been getting downvoted for a long time on Hive
They have been trying to bully me with downvotes and words but it doesn't affect me I've been online for over 25 years
So I've dealt with people like this before it's nothing new
But what they are doing is bad Very badi joined steemit like everyone else thinking it offers freedom but I must say steemit offered much more freedom than Hive does
Everyone already knows I only post my own original content I have no need to steal anything from anyone
I've been labelled a lot of things on Hive 😂 by the biggest farmers scammers and downvoters
Actions speak louder than any words do especially when them words are coming from a compolsive liars
I will keep updating this post when I get time

Holy 😇 💩 @steevc!! Good on you!
And thank you for giving me the @strava2hive integration. It really helps me be more mindful of getting out everyday, even if I don’t feel like it.
You’re the bestest!!! 🥰
Ah shucks!
These apps can give some motivation to get out. We gamify all sorts of things these days. I do that with learning French on Duolingo too. We have a form of it on Hive.
You're the bestest really 😍

What, a form of DuoLingo on Hive? What???
Ah, I meant gamification here, not language learning, but with our diverse community there is potential for helping people learn a language. Sorry for the confusion :)
Haha! I got my hopes up!
Of course anyone can build their apps on Hive and give out rewards for achievements.

Nice job! I finally hit the treadmill and did a proper workout yesterday after all my foot stuff. It is still healing, but I was able to finish my full routine.
Good to hear you are getting back to full health. I know recovery gets harder and it's frustrating.

Thanks, yeah, I really thought I would be back to 100% quicker than this.

Great job @steevc ! 👏🏽 Keep on going!
I noticed post about STRAVA on Facebook. I am still thinking about what to install. I do have smartband but it likes to reset and sometimes numbers on phone are better than numbers on smartband 🙄
I use the Strava app on my Android phone, but can also log activities with my Garmin watch, so there are various ways to do it. The @strava2hive app can make posts for you if you use Strava.
Thanks a bunch 😊. I will try it. I have MiFit app but it became ridiculous. Back in the 2020 I used to "compete" with one friend then I started to compete with myself (best competition ever 😅) . With new watch that keeps crashing it's impossible.
Congrats for hitting 150.000 HP!
Hello @steevc, congratulations on all your achievements. It's motivating to read your post. Today I started using Strava, feeling a bit lost, but I posted that as my small achievement for today. I want to run in the future, so I'm taking it step by step.
I started running late in life, but enjoy it now. I use my running posts for updates on what else I have been doing so people have something to read and comment on. Keep up your exercise and have fun.

BEER.Congrats on the milestone, and crikey, that was quick... I'm sure you only passed 100k relatively recently too!
(either that or time is becoming more blurred the older I get!)
It's over 2 years since I hit 100k, but it should go up quicker as I will make more from curation. The value of it is another thing...
