It is wrong not to try new things; new things can birth new innovations, new beginnings, and new understandings.

The fear of failure follows us like a shadow, but when we dust it off, we will realize the inner strength and peace we can enjoy. 🦾

Hello everyone, it is my pleasure to be here. I am super excited, and I know I will enjoy my stay here with every worthy note of recommendation from my friends and family. I do not think I will have a bad stay here.

To be frank, the first paragraph was not for you, my dear Hivers, but rather for me as a reminder that I have made up my mind to conquer fear.

I am, by name, Queen Akawu Emmanuel. Of course, "Emmanuel" is an added name. Which is my pleasure to be the wife of Mr. Emmanuel Egya Okara. We are blessed with a child for now (smiles). As a lover of kids, I had to use "for now" because a few more kids will follow.

I studied English and literally studied at Nasarawa State University, Keffi , Nasarawa State, one of the peaceful regions in Nigeria.
I furthered my education with the Nigeria Teachers' Institute (NTA), thereby making me a qualified educationist.

My passion for education began at age eighteen, just a few months after my secondary school education. I was paid four thousand naira (₦4000) (in Nigerian currency). Trust me, that was a peanut, but it was not my focus. I needed the experience, I needed the skill, and I needed the exposure with both learners and teachers. I could still picture the school just like sixteen years ago. Some parted classes into five structures with aluminum zincs at the back of the principal residential house. One of my first life experiences was as a teacher, and it was beautiful.

Fast-forward to four years ago; I had made over 15 trips across Kaduna State and Nasarawa State. I organize monthly outreaches to secondary schools within the city. where we discuss real-life challenges with teenagehood and other dimensions regarding life as ladies.You can literally imagine the joy leaping out of the faces of these young girls. A sense of "So I am seen, the courage to share their fears and worries," and the liberty to give forgiveness a chance after so many hurts gladden my heart.

I have not been paid by anyone or any company. I work from my heart, and all I hope to achieve is raising decent young ladies who will not ignore the truth and suffer for what knowledge could avoid.
Moreover, let them be able to transfer this wealth of knowledge to others so we can have a society rid of so many mindsets eating up our God-original life design.
I am passionate to about growth, change, and love. I want to see love conquer hate in the most amicable ways.
I want to see growth, the growth that is tracked and traceable.I want my life and people to evolve. not just to exist and die.

I hope to get a warm welcome and an opportunity to learn, relearn, and unlearn here. With you all, I strongly believe I can be better than my yesterday.
