Thinking about home (oil on paper)
Hello hivers, an happy Monday to you all! I hope you spent a nice weekend.
Today the sky over my city is full of dark clouds and it's raining a little, so all the plants and trees around seems to come back to life again. ❤️
Yesterday in the afternoon I started to work on a new artwork on paper larger than my usual (an A3 size instead of a A4 size and a different kind of paper) and this morning, after the first cup of coffee of my day, I gave the last touches to it, so now I can share with you the final result:
As you can see, the subject is one of my usual characters with big eyes and a tiny scenes about home on her hair.
It's an oil colors painting on 300 gsm cotton paper in A3 size and, like I use to do every time I paintes a new piece, I took some pics while I was painting this sweet girl who think about home so you can see the process too:
Soon I'll add this new artwork to my Artfinder shop (link at the bottom), hoping it will find a new home!
In the meantime I'm working on my own shop on Saatchi, where I could sell also some prints from my original artworks. Whe I will be add some prints there I'll tell you more. ❤️
See ya soon and stay safe,
Silvia

She is adorable 🩶
Thanks so much! ❤️
Hay una expresión como de tristeza abandonada, como de nacimiento y de versos en este trabajo.

Muchas gracias. ❤️
Whenever I look at your work, I love seeing those big, tender eyes that stand out on your characters' faces. I also love the way you blend human figures with everyday objects, in this case representing home. I looked at the girl and she might be sad because she is far from home, or perhaps she is just pensive.
I love the technique you use of oil on cotton paper, and I hope this work finds its home, as you say. Excellent work, you have a unique style. Thank you very much!
