The sea inside a cup, waiting a little rain. 🚣
Hello hivers, an happy Sunday to you all! Today, when I woke up and I opened my window before to drink my first cup of coffee of the day, I had a nice surprise in front of me: the sky was full of dark clouds and the air was cooler than during the previous mornings! After a lot of very hot day, while everything around seemed to needs water to come back to life, I immediatly thought this day started in a nice way and I felt myself full of energy again. Now here is the 7 PM and I can say this morning we had just few minutes of rain, but the temperature is lower than yesterday and we could enjoy to stay outside for a long walk along the side of the river close my home. ❤️
This morning I also worked on another oil painting on paper for the series of 10 commissioned artworks I started around a couple of weeks ago. The customer watched the ones I painted before and he said me he loves especially the ones with the rounded red fish and the cup with a sea scene inside of it, so I'll working on similar ones.
You can see the final result of the daily artwork in the following pics:
As you can see, this time I decided to paint the cup like a sort of water with a little red fish and, inside the cup I painted a sort of isle with a blue tree similar to the clouds I painted on the sky over the cup.
Maybe you remember along the years I painted a lot of similar "special cup" with different scenes inside of it, in different sizes and different decorations on the cups too. This is because I love to imagine little words and little scenes everywhere on my piece of art. ❤️
This piece is an oil colors (with just a touch of white ink) painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do every time I paint a new artwork, I took some pics while I was painting this cup so you can see the steps of the process too:
To be honest, even if I always so happy for any commissioned artwork my customers ask me, I can't wait to finish this one, so I'll come back to work on everything my imagination feel the need to represent with brushes and colors. ❤️
I hope you like it and, if you want, stay tuned to see my next artworks!
See ya soon and stay safe,
Silvia

The red fish make the cup to look as if the inside was a river, it is truly a superb art, and that tree as well give a stunning look.
