The long-tailed widowbird (oil on paper)

Hello hivers, an happy Wedneday to you all!
The weather is really good and it looks like to be in the Springtime here and thinking about the many birds are flying around the branches of my plum tree since soon in the morning, I decided it was time to paint a new feathered subject in my own illustrative style!
This time the subject is not a kind of bird I can see close to me, because this bird lives in some regions of the South Africa. Googling to search pics of interesting birds to paint, a pic of a black bird with a long long tail catched my attention: the long-tailed widowbird (Euplectes progne). I just finished to paint the artwork and, in the following pics, you can see the final result:

As you can see, the bird is black with some spots in orange and white and it has a wonderful, very long tail!
This artwork is an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was painted it so you can see the process too:
