The human figure and the plants (oil on paper)

Hello hivers, an happy Monday to you all! I hope you spent a nice weekend. Yesterday me and my hubby went to visit my mom and we spent some time with her eating some good cooking, drinking a coffee and chatting about this and that. It was a quiet, nice Sunday for us and I came back to my home with 3 jars of very good pickled olives made by my mom. :D

This morning I woke up soon like I use to do every day to work on my new artworks during the first, quiet hours of the day. It is a warm, sunny day and while I was working on my paintings, I could listen the birds singing around the plum tree in my backyard. In the following pics, you can see the piece I just finished to paint:

As you can see, the subject is one of my usual figure with no hair and just few lines on the face. Close to the figure I painted some plants in my own illustrative style, the shapes of the plants are similar to te oval of the head of my character.
It's a mixed media painting (oil colors, acrylic colors and ink) on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was painted it:
