The freaky cat (oil on paper)

An happy Wednesday to you all! Another hot day here, Cerberus (the name of the anticyclone ^_^ ) seems to have an objective: make us feel like meat on the grill!

Here in my area the temperatures are around 35C, but I read in some other regions of my country (Italy) predicted to grow to 47-48C. So hot!

To save myself from hot hair, I drink a lot of water, a dress just cotton large dresses, I use fan (no air conditioner inside my home) and I use curtains on the windows to give shadow to the rooms. ^_^

Today I needed a pause from the work on the pieces for my next solo exhibition and so I painted just the small, freaky cat that you can see in the following pics:

As you can see, the subject a brown cat with a long long face and a delicate lace on the neck. I added also some blue clouds on the background, maybe I was inspired by the hope for some fresh air. ^_^

It's an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A6 size and, like I use to do for you, I took some pics while I was painted it on my small working table so you can see the process too:
