The blue bird between the leaves (oil on paper)

Hello hivers, an happy Monday to you all!

After some rainy,windy days, today the sun is shining on the sky, even if it's really cold outside. My furry friend Richy decided it's too cold to stay in my backyard and so he's sleeping on her warm blanket on the sofa, while I can see the birds flying around from my window.
This morning, like I use to do every day, I woke up soon to work on a new artwork during the first silent hours of the day . I thought to paint a new (fat) bird of mine in the shades of blue colors and, in the following pics, you can see the final result:

During these days I'm painting and drawing a lot of birds using different styles and media, but my usual fat birds are my favorite. The subject of this piece is a delicate blue bird betweens delicates large red leaves and I'm really satisfied by the result. ^_^
Like the most part of my artworks, this is an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was painted it under the natural light so you can see the process :
