Playing with some scraps of paper (mixed media on paper)

Hello hivers, an happy Wednesday to you all!
Another hot day here, but this morning I was really brave because I had some things to do outside and so I faced the boiler air along the streets of my city. It was hard and I felt myself like a character of an adventure story in a desert area, but at the end everything went ok and I came back at home safe and sound! :P Ok, I'm kidding, it was not so hard.
As you can understand, during these very hot days I'm working just on small artworks and I'm also studying different kinds of subjects playing with some scraps of paper.
Yesterday in the afternoon I decided to use scraps of the paper that I used to clean my brushes when I'm painting and this was the final result:

I was intruigued by the shades of different colors of the paper after I cleaned my brushes and so I thought it could become a couple of freaky birds.
Maybe I'll use them for a collage, it could be something nice. ^_^

They are both mixed media (acrylic colors, oil colors and white ink) painting on newspaper scraps and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was painted these funny birds so you can see the process too:
