Fixing an idea on my sketchbook. ❤️

Hello hivers, an happy Sunday to you all! Here it's a sunny warm day, my furry friends are sleeping in my backyard while the leaves of my plum tree are falling down slowly all around them.
Later me and my hubby @paolobeneforti will go to the main square of my city (just few minutes by walk from my home) because there is a funny event in the ancient building there. I'll take some pics and I'll tell you more about it in my next content, promise!

This morning I woke up soon as usual and, after I gave food to my furry little helper and after my first cup of coffee, I took my sketchbook and I fixed an idea I had in my mind. In the following pics, you can see the final result of that sketch/ painting:

Along the time I watched many times simple semicircles used as a graphic decor and they intrigued me so much because even if my style is a little more complex I really love to see simple lines and minimalist graphic signs.
Starting from those simple semicircles I tried to make them "mine" adding to them some of my typical elements, in this case a bird and a plant.
To understand if it could work, I used my oil colors on a page of my sketchbook (around 100 gsm paper) and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was working on it so you can see the process too:
