Another new bird: the Bohemian waxwing (oil on paper)

Hello hivers, an happy Monday to you all!
The sky is full of dark clouds again out of my window, but there is no problem, because I can add some different colors around thanks my brushes. ^_^
In the dark days, for me the perfect subjects to paint are birds. Maybe it's because in my backyard there are always some different birds flying around the plants and my plum tree, maybe because I love to listen their songs or maybe just because I like to paint them in my own illustrative style!

This morning my attention was focused on some pics of the bird called Bohemian waxwing (in italian is Beccofrusone). The colors of the plumage of this kind of bird are really nice and I like that sort of black mask on its eyes. I just finish to paint my own version of the bird and so, in the following pics, you can see the final result:

Isn't it a funny bird? I like that lovely crest on the head. ^_^
It's an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, as I use to do for you, I took some pics while I was painted this funny (and fat) bird on my small workinng table:
