A tiny sheep in the style of ancient bestiaries (oil on paper)

Hello hivers, an happy Monday to you all! I hope you spent a nice weekend and a great start of a new week! ^_^

Today I'm here to show you a new animal I painted in a style that reminds the Middle Age miniatures on the books called "bestiaries". After the birds and the deer I painted in this kind of style and that I shared with you some day ago, this morning I had fun to paintone of my sheep and you can see the final result in the following pics:

I lie to paint a to watch these new tiny kind of paintings and so I'll paint some other animals in this style. ^_^

As you can see, I'm trying to mix that ancient style to mine and it's really something funny to do for me and a good excercise for my hands and my minds.
It's an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A6 size (te size of a common postal card) and, like I use to do for you, I took some pics while I was painted this "special" tiny sheep so you can see the process too:
