A striped fish and her little one (oil on paper)

Hello hivers, an happy Monday to you all!
Another working week is started, another very warm week, because here the weather seems determined to remain warm like in the first days of Summer.
Well, you know that, when the weather is hot, I like to paint something about the sea, about boats or some funny fishes and so, this morning, I decided to paint a sweet (and funny too) scene about a striped fish and her little one. A sort of "Motherhood" about fishes and you can see the final result in the following pics:

I was inspired by a drawing of my hubby @paolobeneforti . Days ago he drew a couple of figures with the head in form of fishes (the most part of his artworks are always surrealistic scenes) and I was captured by the poses, so I wanted to see if the same poses could work for my usual fishes in my own illustrative style. To be honest, I like the final result. ^_^
It's an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do for you, I took some pics while I was painted her so you can see the process too:
