A new small version of "Thinking about home" (oil on paper)
An happy Friday to you all!
The weekend is just around the corner and maybe the weather will be good enough to enjoy a little time out of home with my family. ^_^
As I wrote before, during these days I'm working hard on my artworks to be ready for my solo exhibition in August. For the most part I'm working on pieces of the series I call "Thinking about home", so I'm painting a lot of my usual characters with tiny scenes on their head. To be honest, I'm starting to feel a little need to work on something different (it's normal after a lot of similar artworks), but before to think about a different theme I need to finish some other pieces of the same series.
Yesterday, while my hubby @paolobeneforti was teaching art to the class inside our lab room (a lesson about the watercolor tecniques), I finished a small version of my "Thinking about home" woman:
After I finished this one, I worked on the legs and the arms of one of my paper dolls I will share with you on one of my next contents (stay tuned!).
Coming back to the piece of today, it's an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A6 size and I alsotook some pics while I was painted her on my small working table so you can see the work in progress too:
Yesterday, late in the afternoon, I added this new artwork to my Artfinder shop (link at the bottom), hoping it will find a new home wit a nice wall to decor! ^_^
I hope you like it!
See ya soon and stay safe,
Silvia

Your style is fascinating.
For some reason it makes me feel nostalgic.
Thanks so much for your words, feedbacks on my artworks are really important for me. ^_^
