A new page of my sketchbook: beetles. ^_^

An happy Sunday to you all! I ope you are having a very nice day. It's a cloudy day here in my area, but me and my hubby @paolobeneforti spent the most part of the day visiting some interesting museums in my city. During these days, in a museum in my city (Pistoia, Italy), an art exhibition titled "'60 Pop art" with 70 artworks (paintings, sculptures, collages and others) of the italian pop art in the '60. From Mario Schifano, Tano Festa, Franco Angeli to Mimmo Rotella, Mario Ceroli, Pino Pascali, Fabio Mauri, Jannis Kounellis, and others, it's really a wonderful opportunity to watch those pieces in real and so we went there.

I'll share with you some pics we took while we were visiting different museums in one of my next contents.^_^
Now I'm here to share with you a new page of my sketchbook I painted this morning:

As you can see, the main subject are a coupleof funny beetles. It's te first time I painted beetles and, to be honest, I had so much fun to image them in my own illustrative style.
To paint them I used acrylic colors and white ink on a 200 gsm paper page of my sketchbook and, like I use to do for you, I took some pics while I was painted them so you can see the process too:
