A new girl on my sketchbook. ❤️

Hello hivers, I wish you an happy Friday!
Another Friday, another weekend just around the corner and I'm pretty sure we will have an hot weekend (even if I cross my fingers for some cooler hours 😉 ). The fruits on my plum tree are ready to cook jam and so I think I'll do it in the next days soon in the morning or after the dinner when the air is not so hot.

Like I did every day, this morning I woke up soon to work with my brushes and colors during the first and quiet hours of the day. I felt the need to exercise my hands in a different kind of face for my characters and so I work on a page of my sketchbook. In the following pics you can see the final result of my sketch/ study:

Inspired by some works by the american painter Mark Ryden and other ones (included the cartoon character Betty Boop 😁 ), I painted a rouned face with large eyes that could remind to a little one or a doll too.
It's a mixed media (acrylic colors, oil colors and white ink) painting on a page of my sketchbook in A4 size and, as usual, I took some pics during the process too:
