Miss Victory in the Clouds

Here's a Miss Victory pin-up poster while I procrastinate a bit more on completing today's Java Jaguar strip. I like how this illustration turned out, even though it was kind of an accident.

I was just experimenting with poses and perspective with our heroine, Miss Victory. I used the auto color feature in Clip Studio Paint to fill in the base color layer. Later I thought I would just add in an aerial-view of a city for background. The problem was that the autocolor feature fills the entire canvas with paint, so the background layer wouldn't have been visible. Except that I had gone back with a transparent airbrush tool to clean up a bunch of the area around her body, because the auto-color feature is a very sloppy tool. Because I had gone over that part by erasing, when I threw down the background layer it looks like she's flying through the clouds.

We'll call that a Bob Ross "happy accident."

Also, does this image look better with or without the line art layer?

I have been following for a while, as a comic fan, I love to see your art. It remembers a bit maybe frank cho ? hehehe

Glad to do it, thanks for letting me know. I think most people don't remember to check on their witness votes even semi-regularly. I found another one of my votes going to an inactive witness just now.

I totally understand you! It is hard to maintain a witness running so people just decide that it isn't worth it sometimes and just decide to shut their witnesses. Some of them post about it, others don't ! I plan to always keep updated the state of my witnesses in my posts =)

Defiantly without the line art layer, to me it bind the charterer with the background, with line art they look disconnected, thanks
