Drawing A Portrait [1304]

20231111_130021.jpg

Hello everyone!

Today, I want to share with you my new art work. This time, I decided to use cross hatching to build my forms. The sketch is a portrait drawing of a beautiful young lady with charming eyes.

She's wearing headtire round her head. I love how the drapings on the heatire were formulated through the use of simple lines.

I just couldn't get enough of this piece though it was challenging and time consuming - had to lay strokes over and over against another in order to get smooth and desired texture.

The portrait was done with a blue ballpoint pen on a cardboard paper. I used cross hatching technique to create this piece.

Below are my step-by-step processes:

Thank you.

I think using cross hatching technique brings a lot of life to pen art. This is really nice art dear. Well-done.

It just depends on what you want to achieve and how you feel at that point in time.
Thank you.
