Showing The Kervik Card at Maximum Level in Action

In this post I'll talk about the Kervik card in Splinterlands. He's one of the legendary monsters from the new Reward Set and also a great ally when it comes to dealing damage and providing support.
Before continuing to talk about the Kervik card, I'll talk a little about Arcade Colony.
Arcade Colony

Arcade Colony is a web-based platform where mainstream games can deploy Web3 features. Newly created games, as well as previously released games, can now add tokens, digital collectibles, trading, renting, earning, and governance to their games. Thus, Arcade Colony hosts a series of published games similar to the Epic Games Store, Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Steam, but unlike Web2 publishers, Arcade Colony augments new and existing games with Web3 features.
For more information about the platform, read the Whitepapper.
There are 4 games in Arcade Colony, but I'm only playing 3:
My main focus is on Splinterlands and Moon Karts because I have a lot of fun in these games and the winnings are better.
- This is not an investment tip.
Let's go back to talking about Kervik, and don't judge him by his size because his height is short but his usefulness is high.
Kervik

As I mentioned before, Kervik is one of the legendary monsters from the new Reward Set, and that means there are 3 ways to get him in Splinterlands.
- Buying Loot Chests
- Buying Legendary Draws
- Buying Kervik from other players in the game market.
My goal is to get him in Legendary Draws and I want to level him up to the maximum level before a new Reward Set is released.
Let's talk about the advantages and disadvantages of the Kervik card.
Advantages
Kervik has a low mana cost, which is great news because you can easily use him in battles. He has a large amount of attack, so he will deal a lot of damage during battle. His last advantage is his abilities, but I'll talk about them soon.
Disadvantages
Kervik has low health, so he can be easily defeated, but the Camouflage ability will help prevent this from happening easily. Another disadvantage is Kervik's attack speed; it's low, meaning he'll take a long time to attack and have little chance to dodge attacks.
Kervik can be even more useful in battles with the Reverse Speed rule.
Let's talk about Kervik's abilities.
Sneak

The Sneak ability allows Kervik to attack from any position and targets the enemy monster in the last position.
Camouflage

Cannot be directly targeted unless in the first position. Does not affect indirect attacks (e.g., Scattershot, Blast Splash damage, or Trample) or Wingbreak.
Expose

80% chance to remove Forcefield, Lookout, Deflect, Shield, Void, Void Armor, or Immunity after a successful attack. Expose will always remove Immunity first.
Tank Heal

The Tank Heal ability heals Kervik for 1/3 of its maximum health to the allied monster in the first position.
This combination of abilities makes Kervik an incredible card because it will deal a lot of damage during battle and also heal its allied monsters, so it's a balance between damage and support.
One of the disadvantages I mentioned before was Kervik having low health, but the Camouflage ability will greatly help prevent it from being defeated, so its health isn't a major concern in battle, especially in battles with low mana available.

BATTLE
In this battle you can see how useful Kervik can be, but he can't take all the credit alone because the card Jicarilla The Rime was a great support in the battle and because of it Commander Slade managed to survive.
Kervik is a great choice, but as you can see in this battle, strategy is essential, so always use cards that will combine well for each type of battle.
