The Deck: Irina Carried Me

This deck made every game feel like it was a free victory, irina with lysander provided insane value in sealed and basically won the match along with having a disgusting pool of various high value cards all carefully chosen. It was brutal and felt like an absolute annihilation of 7 opponents in a row without mercy. The last one WAS actually free (Thanks but no thanks kekerino, I want BLOOD. lol jk). This didn't even feel like playing GU, it almost felt like just walking to the end zone and getting the legendary pack. Truly a surreal experience if I must say so myself.

The "Legendary" Pack

The legendary pack did not contain a legendary and was rather lackluster overall but still, fun stuff to pull. I already had all of these cards but any forge fodder is appreciated at this point and I can't be too stingy about it. These packs REALLY should be called something else. They never feel that legendary and don't seem to warrant the name, I get people memeing on them all the time. It certainly feels like a meme to not get legendaries from "legendary" packs.

Sealed Pool Thoughts

Scrappy comes for us all!!!! but seriously, that card seems to win sealed matches like nobodies business. Definitely a lot less instascoops but the ones that exist basically end the game (like Irina Light for example). I've seen way worse sealed pools than this one and have been having a decent go of it, a lot of chaff you have to work to make your deck feasible etc. This post is to celebrate this 7 win run but also showcase how polarized some of the cards/pools can be aswell.

Irina Thoughts: A monstrous GP

This GP (even well before this post and all throughout it's existence) I have said was a really strong GP that in the right deckbuilding outvalues the heal GP. +1/+2 in stats to any creature with 2 or less attack is a strong aggro light GP. It should be noted this GP can never be changed or altered PERIOD, which was another factor behind why I thought it needed looking at before lock during the Irina fiasco (but hey we'll see how this goes). In closing I had a blast murdering everyone, but in every enviroment this GP seems really strong in any aggro build for light almost. Sealed, formats, ranked, the bottom of the ocean, it doesn't matter where you play Irina it seems to bring the heat.
