All Wyrms in Gods Unchained
Cover made using images and elements from Gods Unchained.
Hey everyone!
Wyrms are serpentine dragons and have 2 legs instead of 4, unlike dragons. In Gods Unchained there are 7 cards based on them, they have good effects in general, being used by many players in the game.

It is currently the 1 mana card with more stats than any other. But it has a negative effect that allows your opponent to draw a spell, reducing its cost to 1. This can be really bad if the opponent draws a high mana spell. | This wyrm is often used in aggro death decks, primarily to trigger the afterlife of Blackfire Fledgling, which deals 3 damage to the weakest enemy creature and the opposing god. |

Undersea Spellwyrm is used in nature control decks; after casting it, it removes a spell from the opponent's hand and replaces it with a copy of this creature. If the opponent has a really good spell like "Over the line", which allows allied creatures to perform an extra attack on the opponent god, which is the key to some death decks, removing that card card can save you a lot of trouble.
Mountain Greatwyrm, will gain strength every time it takes damage, but it costs 7 mana, so it's not usually added to decks, at least not in meta decks. However, it can sometimes be added to the hand thanks to the effect of Draconite Shard (1 mana spell), which delves a dragon into the hand, and if the batlle drags on, well, this creature can be summoned.

Rotting Dreadwyrm, a 7 mana creature, usually difficult to summon. However, it can be easily summoned if you manage to send Deadwyrm into the void. You can do this with spells that send the top cards of your deck into the void, but the best would be the 2 mana spell Scalecult Ceremony, which lets you look at the top 3 cards of your deck and choose two to put into the void.
This way, Dreadwyrm can be summoned early with Fated Demise, which is a spell of 2 mana, that summons the top dragon from your void and and at the end of the turn it is destroyed. Therefore, Dreadwing's afterlife effect will summon two 5/5 Dreadwraiths. If you are lucky enough to do it in the first turns, you'll have the game secured.

The 2 mana spell, Gather the Greatwyrms, lets you speed up your deck by delving a +5 mana dragon from your deck and drawing it. But this spell is not really useful since there are not combos with it.
On the other hand, the Wyrmbreath spell is often used in magic decks, as it comes in the core set, but unfortunately it is not added in meta decks as it has a simple effect, but can always be delved with magic spells.
Do you like Wyrm creatures? Which one is your favorite?
My favorite is the Undersea Spellwyrm, although I've only used this card a couple of times, it has often given me a huge advantage by removing annoying spells from my opponent's hand.
The cheapest Wyrm is the 4 mana spell, the meteorite quality costs $0.03. And the most expensive is Burial Wyrm, a single meteorite costs $8.40.

You could consider creating a collection of posts to gather in one place all your posts around this theme of 'types of creatures'. I do that for my own posts when it makes sense.
Also it would be great if you'd kept these posts updated when new cards come out, although there is no reward for that :P
Hey, that's a great idea, I will do it right now.
