Hace un par de años aproximadamente, me regalaron unos chalecos, Manga larga... La verdad no eran de mi agrado total, no se... Esas mangas no me gustaban tanto con el tipo de corte y largo del chaleco.

Un día viendo que hacer con esas prendas, si regalarlas o transformarlas... Se me ocurrió quitarle las mangas.

Dañaría la pieza? Era probable... Pero si no me arriesgaba no sabía si se vería bien!

Heche tijeras y... Seguía viéndolo rarito 😁. Entonces le agarré el ruedito en donde lo había cortado, le di unas puntadas para que no quedara tan ancho, y aparentemente quedó bien.

Pues pasaron 2 años y no conseguía con que usarlo... 😬 En más de 5 ocasiones lo sacaba y lo planchaba pero no me terminaba de convencer. No sé si era el color o que, pero algo no me gustaba. Así que lo volvía a guardar sin usarlo.

Sin embargo me rehusaba a regalarlo 😁... Hoy mientras pensaba que ponerme, recordé que aún el chaleco no había sido estrenado. Así que decidí combinarlo está vez con tonos claros a ver si así me gustaba y WALAAAAA... Me flechó! 😍

Como el verde era en tono pastel, el combinarlo con blanco perla y color crema hizo una bonita armonía. Complementé con sandalias blancas y una cartera tejida. Accesorios dorados y poquísimo maquillaje.

Me gustó el look porque daba un aspecto juvenil y tierno, por lo suave de los tonos!

Ahora con toda confianza puedo transformar el otro chaleco que me queda allí... 😍 Sólo espero no pase un par de años más allí escondido 😜

La moraleja de esto es que... Con un poco de ingenio se puede dar una Nueva vida a prendas que sentimos que no van con nuestro estilo.✨

A couple of years ago, I was given some vests, long sleeves.... The truth is that I didn't like them at all, I don't know.... I didn't like those sleeves so much with the type of cut and length of the vest.

One day I was thinking about what to do with those garments, whether to give them away or transform them... It occurred to me to remove the sleeves.

Would it damage the piece? It was probable... But if I didn't take the risk I didn't know if it would look good!

I took scissors and... It still looked weird 😁. Then I grabbed the little wheel where I had cut it, I gave it a few stitches so it wouldn't be so wide, and apparently it was fine.

Well, 2 years went by and I couldn't find anything to use it with.... 😬 On more than 5 occasions I took it out and ironed it but it didn't convince me. I don't know if it was the color or what, but I didn't like something. So I would put it back in storage without wearing it.

However I was refusing to give it away 😁.... Today while I was thinking what to wear, I remembered that the vest hadn't been worn yet. So I decided to combine it this time with light tones to see if that way I would like it and WALAAAAAAA.... I had a crush on it! 😍

As the green was in pastel tone, combining it with pearl white and cream color made a nice harmony. I complemented with white sandals and a woven clutch. Gold accessories and very little makeup.

I liked the look because it gave a youthful and tender look, because of the soft tones!

Now I can confidently transform the other vest I have left there..... 😍 I just hope I don't spend a couple more years hiding there 😜.

The moral of this is.... With a little ingenuity you can give a New life to garments that we feel don't go with our style.✨
