Belligerent Frank

Frank just resigned from his previous work, though he had put in about three years of his life working for the organisation. He took such a drastic decision because his salary was no longer taking care of his bills. Even though the management liked him, they couldn't increase his salary even after he wrote to them several times.

He loved his new work environment, though not as much as the previous one. After the interview, the manager told him the salary and he agreed to start working immediately.
“Frank”, he said “your monthly salary is 40k, that's how much we can pay you”
“No problem sir”
“Good”
“One more thing” Frank interrupted
“Go ahead” the man said, while writing on a piece of paper
“I want to know, your system of payment”
“That's a very good question,” he said putting down his biro and staring at Frank
“Here, we do not owe salaries like other people do, we pay our workers their complete money at the end of every month, even in December, when we work for only two weeks, our staff get their complete salaries”
“That's fine,” Frank said as he left the manager’s office.

The following day, Frank reported to duty, and he met three other staff members who were newly employed; the four of them became friends, and not long after, they began to share sensitive information.

Two weeks later, at the close of work, Frank and Michael had a discussion, and Michael revealed to Frank that the manager had told him that he doesn't pay the full salary for newly employed staff for the first month.
“That can't be true” Frank argued, “but the man never said that to me” he added
“That's a serious matter” Michael muttered
“Let me tell you, if I do not receive my full salary, I won't continue with the job,” Frank said.

The following week, all the old staff collected their salary and none of the new staff was paid. Two days later, Frank walked into the manager’s office, who was attending to people in his office. He told Frank to wait a little longer.

“Mr Frank, you may come in”, the manager called after the guest had left the office
“Good afternoon sir, he greeted
“Afternoon” he responded without looking at Frank
“Sir, you promised to pay last week, but I've not received my salary. What could be the problem”? He asked
“We're very sorry for the delay, but I promise you that before the end of today, you will get your salary”.
“Alright sir, thank you very much”
“You're welcome”

The day passed and he didn't receive his salary. The following day, on his arrival, he went to the manager again; this time, the manager told him that before the close of work, he would get his salary.

While on duty, Frank’s Phone beeped, he took it out from his breast pocket behold it was a credit alert from his bank. He opened it, and he saw an alert of 28k, behold it was his salary
“Unbelievable!” He exclaimed “This is not what we agreed”

In a short time, all the new staff gathered and walked down to the manager's office to make a complaint. The manager in his response told them that it's the policy of the organisation that they do not pay their newly employed staff full salary in their first month”

“That's not true, sir, you never mentioned that to me,” Frank said. “You'd better pay us our complete money”
“There's nothing we can do about that”, the manager said, dismissing them from his office.

To show their grievances, the four new workers agreed never to return to work the following day until they got their complete salaries.
"This is the height of betrayal, we will never accept this" Frank addressed the others
"Will you guys accept this?" He asked
"Never," they responded.
"Mr Frank", Michael called his attention ", Do you know that none of the old staff collected half salaries on their first month of duty?"
"This man is a cheat" the other woman said

The following day, the other three resumed but Frank stayed true to the agreement. After some days it was learned that a new staff member had replaced Frank.
