I looked around my store and realized most of my groceries were almost finished.

"Oops!! It's gonna be a long day. " I sighed as I sat on the blue couch beside the door.

"What do I need to buy at the mall tonight?" My thought were loud as I picked up my phone and made my way to the notepad.

"Beverages, cubes, flour, bread, ..." I jotted the things I needed to restock but when I checked my purse I hadn't enough money to buy all that I've listed.

I decided to buy the few things my money could afford so I left home for the mall at about 6:30pm. The mall was about an hour drive away from my home and at exactly 7:32pm I arrived at Shantel Mall.

The crowd at the entrance was quite worrisome. "What could be happening over there at this time of the day?" In curiosity I walked right towards them. Alas! Omah lay one of the most popular artist was in town.

I was wowed and wanted to take a selfie with him and suddenly the attendant made an announcement.

"Omah lay has decided to pay for everyone at the mall today, you all have 60 seconds to shop." My excitement knew no bounds and I patiently waited for my turn since we all had to take turns.

While I watch others shop, omah lay began entertaining us with his voice. I nodded to each song and I was more than grateful I came shopping this particular evening.

"Next.. " The attendant called out pointing at me and viola.. I knew it was time to be swift.

"You have 60 seconds to shop. Your time starts now. " He set the timer alerting me it was time to start.

I hurriedly picked up the basket beside the cashier and headed straight to the grocery section.

I picked up bread, butter, beverages, and everything my hands touched and I also picked up five cartons of noodle, a champagne and small bag of basmati rice.

"Wow!! " The crowd cheered in amazement how I could be so swift to pick as many things as I could find.

"Stop!" The attendant alerted and I knew my 60 seconds had elapsed. After calculating all I picked, it turned out that I picked the most things of all the participants and that earned me VIP shopping voucher at the mall for a duration of three weeks.

What a sweet access to shop as much I would love to for three weeks without paying a dime.

"Who said miracle doesn't exist? " I exclaimed with excitement. " Few minutes at home I was contemplating on what to buy because I hadn't enough money but right now I have more than enough groceries and a shopping spree! Thank you Omah Lay for the beautiful opportunity. " I hugged him in gratitude. "I want to do a freestyle song for you please." I grabbed the mic and sang one of his recent song on his album just to show how grateful I was.

"That was amazing.. What's your name?" I was one of the few people he asked .. "Grace!" I replied as I wore a wide smile and then he said.. "Would you love to attend my concert in May? "

"How did I get here? Yes yes yes!!" I couldn't contain my joy any longer. Omah brought out a VIP ticket and wrote my name on it. "You're so smart and I love smart people. More to that, you are a very appreciative person. You alone sang to me for the first time in many years! Keep being you!"

He handed me the ticket.. "Make sure you show up okay?" And went out of the mall with his guards and I was left in awe.

Everyone in the mall fixed their eyes on me like "who is she?" My heart whispered many times.. "She is me and I am Grace!" I walked out graciously with my many goodies. Headed straight to my ride and filled my trunk with all the goodies I won.

No better way to end this day than sharing this sweetness with my sister. While I got into my car, I dailed her number and we got talking about everything that happened at the mall. It was a long and beautiful conversation with so much laughter.

"Oops.. Almost 9pm sis, I'll call you when I get home." I ignited my engine and zoomed off slamming Omah Lay's song until I got home. This is one shopping experience I will never forget in a hurry!

A typical dream of any Nigerian >> <<
It was an enjoyable read from the beginning to the end, especially the part where Grace packed everything she needed in just a minute.🀣
