Food might just be Everything
Hey there,
Do you know that sweet sensation that originates from your body after your belly has grumbled for a minute or more due to hunger, and you finally perceive the delightful aroma, leaving a trail right from your kitchen? Oh, it is well-seasoned turkey, a bone mixed with fleshy meat, dancing gloriously in the hot oil as its complexion transforms into a well-appreciated brown melanin tone that your mouth will love to savor.
Oh, Samostically, get a hold of yourself?
I am lost in the feeling already, even though at the moment it is only a description of past sensation. I even forgot to mention the boiling pot, which produces a thick sound as the stew thickens, releasing delicious aromas that linger on the pot cover. In fact, I can just feel the walls in my belly creating space for such a meal.
On the spot, your brain automatically knows that this body of yours is going to eat well. And if it is you who is creating the magic or a loved one, the taste even gets better as you know you will devour your portion with love and admiration for a work well done. In the end, the wait and the agony of hunger were worth it because you know you ate well.
This vivid image from my description is exactly my point when I say food might just be everything. It cuts across what we feed our bodies to strengthen our immunity, get rid of hunger, and even to keep the mouth busy while bingeing on a series or movies. But it is about what we feed our minds for our brain to process and accept. It simply goes way beyond the actual food we eat, although my earlier intro has given me out as a lover of food and fried turkey, just so you know, you can get into my good books with that, or it might be the turkey craving in me that is doing the talking.
It is known that the body acts on what the brain has received. Therefore, before there is an action from the body, the brain has done some collection. Information must have been collected from somewhere and somehow before our body starts to react. So do not think that when there is an outbreak, it is out of the blue, because it is rare that certain things simply happen at random, and even some people find it hard to believe in a random occurrence, or the popularly known coincidence. There must be an explanation or a trace that led to that happening.
When you see that your body begins to act in ways you feel are random, ask yourself what you've been feeding your mind lately. Have been around too many negative thoughts and too many opinions telling you can not do this and you can not do that, a lot of naysayers whispering you are not built for this in your ears, and you wonder why it is you doubt yourself all the time or suffer from imposter syndrome.
The answer is right there. What has been your brain's feed lately? This is why I admire people who pay close attention to the clique and the company they keep. It goes a long way than you think. When you are surrounded by action-oriented people driven to do better despite the negative feedback, you become obliged to do so yourself. You cannot be in such a clique and be the one not doing anything; you get left behind.
Now that I think about it, I guess that is why my passion for chess has always been strong. Right from secondary school down to university, my group of friends was highly populated by chess players. I would say at least out of 10 people, 7 of them were decent chess players. So it increased the passion and zeal to improve since we were all competing against one another on who was stronger at playing the game.
I put it to you today, what have you been feeding your mind lately? And pay close attention to it, if it is having a positive or negative impact on your actions.
I am @samostically. I love to talk and write about chess because I benefited a lot from playing chess, and I love writing about chess.

LOL, you completely threw me off with the first three paragraphs, i was literally salivating and imagining things when i was reading it, i could hear my throat gulping down the fried chicken after it's been well fried lol, only for my imagination to be cut short when i got to the next paragraph. I definitely agree with you bro, the body doesn't just work on its own, it reacts based on the action it has been fed, and that is why it gives an equally opposite reaction. Now i see why you are a man of action, regardless of what feedback you get, i guess that's the effect of working with people who are more of an action taker regardless of the hearsays, same as the chess aspect. Great piece man

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you feed yourself well!
The body works with what you feed the mind, the mouth and the eyes, and people who pay attention to their environment and company are always the first to notice that something is wrong somewhere, lately I try hard to guide my brain and eyes even mouth from things that will set me back mentally and physically and honestly the difference is so obvious.
But I want to ask why is the food looking so delicious and I can't access it?
lol you can access it o. Yes that's the goal, what we feed our mind is all that matters. Thanks for stopping by
You're welcome but am still searching for the access code

It is not a lie that will become what will feed our brain, what we listen to, what we see ,always affect us negative or positively. As a baker and caterer, my feeds is based on cakes and dishes, if you could go though my feed rather on Facebook or on tiktok, before it could brings something else than post related to my work will not be quick,I might spend time scrolling social media but then it has really helped me improve on my work. To me social media is not a waste because I benefited from it but to some it's a waste because they could account for what they leaned. Thank you for this, This is an interesting initiative to take home.
What we feed our mind is what the brain ends up interpreting to our body that causes the responses we get. Like the food analogy you used, before we even put a spoon of food in our mouth, our brain already knows thanks to our sensory organs and that’s what gives us the hint as to whether or not we will enjoy the meal or not and sometimes, even though a food might be good for us, we might not eat it because our brain says something different.
Thanks for sharing this beautiful food with us! 😌
