Finding Love ❤️
The word love is relative and can happen unexpectedly. A lot of people believe love doesn't exist and to them, it is illusionary and untrue. My interest in love was ignited during my high school days of reading romantic novels. I loved reading romantic novels and would always imagine myself in the scene. Those novels, funny as it may be, actually help me set some standards of what to expect in my journey of love.
The Problem
The issue in 97% of these novels is that the main characters are always portrayed as very handsome or beautiful, tall and with very attractive physical attributes that would make anyone droll at first sight.
That's not always the case in reality so you better snap out of it
I forgot it's a novel, a fiction and the author goal is for you to have a great time reading and visualizing. Whenever I think back at how I almost lost my husband because of having the wrong expectations, I just laugh. It's funny now because I can clearly understand why I did some obviously stupid things.
Even when I clearly saw all his amazing qualities, I was blinded by my infatuation of someone else, focusing on the physical attributes I fantasize from my romantic novels.
All it took was covid-19 to reset my brain and help me reevaluate my decisions. It was the toughest decision ever. Picking up the phone, calling with heart racing, not knowing what to expect from the other end because I knew I had messed up big time. Difficult as it was, it was the greatest move that brought me to my destination of love and happiness.
Yes, I was indecisive, but today I'm a million times sure. My husband is the best gift for me and he's far better than the characters from my novels. With him, the word love came alive, the burning desire to explore together, to fight, win and loose together and it all made more sense... with him.
Never stop finding love. It is real only when you believe in it.

well yeah they cant present love in books with ugly people and even if it is ugly at first it always become the magic prince charming.
i mean somehow we need to have attraction right ? but the body is the talker.

yeah, zero attraction and i have been attracted to very beautiful men who were beautiful inside and not attractive outside.
its the magnetism and the mind and the heart... but really, the body does the talk.
the intuition too, but the body never lies...when the body closes down at any given time its a red flag to follow.

It's true that there has to be an attraction before feelings are developed. In my case, I actually had zero attraction at first, but later, when I realized how beautiful he was on the inside, I saw his beauty, which is far more than any physical feature.

Ah, what these novels did to one's brain eh! I was a sucker for romantic novels and they also helped pique my interest in love. But the bad side is that the stories were more like fairytales, which weren't anything close to reality. 😅

Despite the talks about love being a sham, I truly believe in it. It's the best thing that can happen to anyone after repentance.

Wow oooo, this is a naked reality, you know, there are times one has to sit down and talk the truth to your own self,
I mean, sitting down all alone and speaking louder to your personality about the real truth of every situation around your life,
else, you will make eternal mistakes you may never correct or be able to forgive yourself.
