Conflict With Conflicts: Build More Repair Kits Or Acquire More DEC? - A Splinterlands Virtual Real Estate Update

It's the weekend again and it's time for another Virtual Real Estate Update regarding our favorite Web 3 game, Splinterlands!
Another conflict airdrop happened a few days ago and I knew I was guaranteed one card. I needed at least 1 Wagon Kit in order to repair one of my wagons.
If you have been following my posts, I saved up enough resources a while back and built 10 wagons kits for my own use or for selling to others.
I planned on replenishing this stock of wagons and the new ones I would build will depend on the amount of cards I get and the amount of kits I would sell. This means fewer resources to swap for DEC!
How many wagons kits did I end up using? How much DEC did I obtain this week? Read on to find out!

Routine Harvest
Regional Claims
My typical harvest process remains the same every week. I'd utilize the CLAIM ALL button in all of the regions I have active plots in. This button will only be available if you have enough Grain in your region. I set up all my plots in a way that I always generate enough Grain for each harvest. While not mandatory, it's really convenient to have a set up like this.
In case you don't have enough Grain for a full claim, you can do individual claims for each resource. Only a few steps added to the process so it's not that bad.
The image below is an old screenshot for Region 46. I'd do the same CLAIM ALL approach for my tracts in other Regions.

Tax Collection - Keeps
I currently own 3 Keeps located in different regions. I always do regular harvests first before claiming taxes. This way, more resources will be stored in the Keeps' storage, and therefore more resources can be claimed.

Taxes are nice... if you're the one collecting them..

Resource Swaps
The natural resources' exchange rates are still below the Grain Factor. It's been going on for weeks now. It's like you can acquire Wood, Stone, and Iron at a discount if you trade Grain for them.
Remember when Stone was so much more expensive than the other resources?? Not the case anymore.
My plans have not changed, though - Acquire more DEC that I can reallocate back into the game, mostly back into Land.

Resources For DEC
I claimed and swapped resources just twice this week. In one of the regions, I also swapped extra Stone that I have been stockpiling for weeks.

42,035 DEC for the week. Not bad!

Guild Updates
Per usual, the taxes collected from the Region 46 Keep will be converted to Guild Power and will be used to power up our Guild's buildings.

Slow growth, but still growth, nonetheless.

LP Position
The usual last step of my Weekly Routine is adding more shares to my LP position in the Grain-DEC Pool. This is done via the Trade Hub.
I pair my excess Grain with it's equivalent amount in DEC. I am contributing over 2 million Grains' worth of shares into the pool.

My share of the pool is now at 1.540%. Again, slow growth. But still.... Keep 'em comin'.

In Other News
Conflict Airdrops
I was guaranteed to receive at least 1 airdrop card from the conflicts. I was surprised to see I was about to receive 2! More than I expected.
I was even more surprised to see that one of the cards turned to a Gold Foil!

I won't always get this lucky but I'm happy I did. Hopefully it carries over to the succeeding Conflict Airdrops!
Wagon Kits
I received two airdrop cards which means two out of my seven wagons were destroyed. Good thing I have more than enough Wagon Kits in stock for repair.
I used two of them, and also sold three to a friend. Now I need to build 5 kits for future use. The problem is that all my Aura is in one region that only has Wood resources.
Since Aura is not transferrable, I needed to transport other Stone and Iron from other regions into the region where I can build the kits.
I could also have bought the required resources for DEC instead of transporting them from one region to another. I could also just trade excess Grain in exchange for these resources.
I opted to do a region-to-region transport instead.

Now, I have enough to build the wagon kits to replenish my inventory.

Wagon Kits stock back to 10! This means I'm back to swapping resources for DEC next week!

Further Developments
I keep acquiring and activating more plots! Last week, I had 129 out of 444 active. Now it's 132 out of 447!
The total plot count might fluctuate here and there since I plan on trading away some of my inactive plots.

Regarding current production, my lineup is as follows:

With this setup, my estimated daily income is about 460 DEC per hour! Sooo close to my goal of 500 DEC per hour!

Land, for me, is such a fascinating part of this game. I don't play ranked or tournaments as much as I used to. Still, I love being here.
Stay tuned.
