Leave your life without expectation, the world is not too friendly

Leave without expectation. The world is not too friendly. Greetings, dear friend 🥰. Wishing you a blessed and fruitful weekend. Thank you for stopping by my blog. I would like to answer question one, which says, "Do you have a high expectation of people around you, and have you been let down because of it?" An elderly man once told me to always do good and not to expect anything in return, and that has been my culture for years now.

I have been disappointed so many times in the past, but this particular incident remains in my heart even though I have forgiven them. Some years ago, when I was about to go for my youth service, my uncle worked it for me to go to Plateau State because it had been my dream to serve there. On getting there, I met another uncle of mine, though we are not blood related.

I went there with one of my cousins, who is more related to him than me, and he was a very prominent person in that state, go there to serve and knowing I have someone like him in the state, my expectations was that he will secure me a very good organization to work with, and maybe after that I might get a job.

so all my thoughts were that he was going to help me get a much better organization to serve with so that I could have extra income aside from the NYSC allowance. But guess what? My expectations were shattered, broken and crushed. He only helped my other cousin because they're kind of blood related; he got her a very big organization to serve and left me to do my service in a public school without any pay.

I was very disappointed at his actions, but who am I to question him? So yes, I have had expectations in the past, and I was let down. Thank you for stopping by. See you next time.
