Doing Nothing Is Still Doing Something: A Weekend Adventure!

Well Hello There Hivers!

It's Weekend And They Are Meant For Things That Are Fun!

Before I kick this one off, I have this thing stuck in my head thinking it's Wednesday today and it's not the first time I thought so today, it's likely the fourth or fifth time! Why I don't know! Perhaps I can't wait for Wednesday to come!

The Gardening Update!

Okay yeah most would say this belongs in the gardening community of Hive, well perhaps but this isn't just about that. Besides it's something I enjoy that I do for fun and especially so over the weekends. I'm also not going to write up one massive story about the little onion I had!

Well a few weeks ago I planted a little onion and I genuinely thought I'd be able to keep it alive... I would have if I actually did some research on the information highway we have available to us today! But no, we always think we are smarter! Right!

Well that onion died, more so it drowned! We gave it far too much water and it did need at-least a little bit of sunshine!

Well I Got Three New Babies To Plant!

There's Hope For This Batch!

At-least I would very much like to think so!

So me and The Betty did some quick studying around onions and we found that the soil has to be soft and it needs some sun. And! And most of all it needs these little roots coming out of them, which I didn't have with the other one.

It's easy to obtain them, just leave them soaked in water for a day or two, they grow out relatively fast I have to say!

The mistake we made with the first one, actually I made the mistake but I kept giving it water and the onion it self got spoiled so it died. I had this idea in my head that it's almost like rice, they love being submerged in a lot of water.

But now we know and I won't be making that mistake again!

Heck, I'm glad I didn't start an onion farm because that would have been such a tragic thing xD! I'd have lost my entire business before it even started up! Laughs!

Damn I really hope these onions grow out to be big and healthy! Don't get me wrong I don't mean to feed an entire household with them, heck I wasn't even thinking about munching on them...

It's just the idea of it growing out that I want to experience!

I'll keep everyone updated with this, but don't keep your hopes too high!

It's All Her Fault!

She was the one that murdered my little onion!

She's doesn't even feel guilty at all!

Laughs I'm just joking guys, but it might be her fault for getting me into this planting lifestyle! Damn if I eat an apple I look at the seeds thinking that I would like to plant them!

I have to admit, I was never a fan of this but neither did I hate on it but now! Now I am more than a fan! I'm a fnatic about it! I can't wait for us to start our little (Big) potato garden sometime soon @misshugo!

The Rest? Well It Was Mediocre At Best!

Laughs, honestly I don't even know what that means in full but I thought it sounded cool so I used the sentence!

Over the last year I've developed a keen taste for spicy things! More specifically "Jalapeno" spicyness!

So this weekend I spotted these on special and I just had to get them! Buy two and get one three and I don't even think it came close to two dollars! Again thanks @misshugo for spoiling me with these!

Oh and they are spicy!

The Rest Of The Weekend Was Fairly Relaxing!

I enjoyed a home brewed craft beer! I'm telling you there is nothing! But absolutely NOTHING that can even think to come close to craft beer! Not a whiskey and not a brandy and not any of your grannies age old brews can come close to these!

At-least that's my opinion!

I told the Betty that I might set up my own brewing station one day and go somewhat crazy in there!

This Is Something We Should Do More!

Well I'm actually the one chickening out for these!

We have this thing of going outside and reading books under the shade of the trees! The only downside is that it's on paving, but with a blanket it really isn't that bad at all!

But imagine chilling on the grass with some snacks out in a field! Now that can be lovely! Ooohhh that reminds me of when when I read book on the beach!

Damn I am growing old guys! A couple of years ago I'd have thought damn all these people reading books on the beach! I mean come on! Don't you enjoy life!

Now I'm one of them!
Imagine that!

That concludes my weekend adventures! Until the next one! Stay Safe and remember to enjoy life to the fullest!

I really like your gardening storie and hope that I will also benefit from the onion planting and your garden one day.

Buy two and get and get one hot sauce seemed a best choice. Just like you, I so love hot sauce of different varieties. Although you were quite disappointed, I hope your onions would grow bigger my dear friend. All the best on your crops and take care always!
