Weekends Are For Things That Are Fun!

Am I right?
I'd like to think so yeah!

Well even though I did have some fun this weekend there was a small downside to it, I have to rant a little but I promise I won't complain too much!

So I had to go into work Saturday because of a client that rushed us, now firstly he brought his own transmission and another firstly that is not how we do things! They buy a scrapyard box and we fit it and then we have to deal with all the other small problems all for free. (I genuinely don't know what's going on in Bossman's head, he always thinks he'll get it back but we never do.)

Now the transmission he bought was buggered up, so now it's our fault and now we have to rush to fix it... Nah damn dude why didn't you just listen to us? What really gets me is how far back Bossman is bending for these people, he even cut the price and for what? For that guy to throw you with racist slurs and a hurry up?

Nah my friend, you won't get that from me.

Anyways, that was the worst part of the weekend xD It really cut the time for having fun in half!

Where The Fun Begins And Never Ends!

Well it all started on the Saturday afternoon and we were supposed to go to a "braai" (You might know it better as a barbecue) but somehow I completely forgot about it!

Luckily for me I have a sharp lady next to me keeping me informed about everything! Thanks @misshugo!

Anyways, the story about the lemons can go very far, so let me recap!

A few weeks back we had a "braai" with the same people and on that day we also plucked some lemons! Although back then it wasn't my idea. The Betty wanted to make us a lemon tart and well anyone that knows me, knows that I have a deep love for anything that is of the sour!

I go batshit crazy for sours!

Needless to say the last time we plucked all the good ones sitting lower on the tree so now the good ones were a little further up, so I sent The Betty into the tree! With good reason though! I was far too long when I stood on the ladder!

Well frankly anything that's delicious of-course whether it be juice or tarts! We decided to make another Lemon Tart because it was beyond delicious for me! I think I might make something of the sorts for me every month! Perhaps even every fortnight!

Being The "BraaiMaster" Felt Nice!

I'm not usually picked as the "Braaier" almost never but when I am picked I am always picked!

Note Worthy: If you don't like being the "BraaiMaster" then just burn the meat, as easy as that! I can guarantee you that nobody shall ever ask you again! They might also not talk to you anymore!

Needless to say I didn't stoop so low! In-fact I think I'm an amazing "Braaier!" Well from what I've heard, it's either true or most people don't have it in them to tell me otherwise! Laughs, nah I know this!

The trick is to never rush it! Meat loves getting grilled slowly! Not steak's of-course, that thing you give a nice flame for a minute on each side and then you're good to go! Don't ask the ladies though, they might complain!

Oh don't you think for one moment that I "Braai" for free! No no, my services comes at a cost, a cheap cost! If you want me to "Braai" you need to push a beer into my hands!

Ain't nothing as good a charring a piece of meat with a glass full of bitter gold!

The Lemon That Almost Make It!

Just like this lemon that didn't make it, I also didn't have a fully enjoyed weekend!

Honestly, working on a Saturday can have that affect. Yes I know it's only half the day but when you get home you've got to wash up and get everything in order and by the time you realize what time it is, its already past six! Then, well then you might as well have stayed at work the whole day right!

To me personally I love having my Saturdays off! It's Monday night and I am already done for this week! Working a job that requires a lot of physical shit, not easy if you have to work the weekends!

Or perhaps it's just a mental thing? Because heck if I work on my own stuff over a weekend I feel even more recharged then ever! I think it might be a mental thing!

I'll have to work on that mentality of mine right!
