What An Unforgettable Memory

(Edited)

Today I will share a true story about myself. I've told this story to a few people before; some people found it funny some people found it stupid well it's all up to the one that perceives it right. Anyways to me it's one of the memories that I will never forget and I think it's probably the funniest thing I ever did in my life! Without further ado let's get to the story.

I was in my highschool years I think I was a freshman during the time. It was a weekend and I was playing on my laptop. If not wrong, I was playing naruto-arena at the time which was a strategy game where we had 3v3 battle with Naruto characters. While I was playing, I had a stomach pain so I thought I had that normal thing where I needed to go take a shit so I rushed to the bathroom but nothing came out.

I went back to playing and then it happened again the pain came back and I went to the bathroom again. Nothing came out again so I got kind of scared. I went to google for reasons why I would have stomach pain. I searched through many things and I came across one that had to do with the appendix bursting and the symptoms were similar to what I was facing. I ended up asking my mom about it and she said that it might be the cause.

With this in mind, she brought me to an emergency clinic to take a further examination on this. Well they said that the appendix bursting might be true so with that they sent me to the hospital. This is the first and last time I ever went to a hospital as a patient. Anyways I was told to take a urine sample so I had to go to the bathroom and pee in a cup so they can use it to test.

Ok this is the part where you will be in disbelief. I actually ended up sitting down and taking a shit and I felt way better after that shit. No joke I was thinking of how crazy I was to come to the hospital just to take a shit. Anyways after taking this shit I told my mom I was ok and that we can go home. My mom reacted like "WHAT"? well then I told her I took a shit and I'm all good now and she was just speechless. Well of course since I'm in a hospital we had to still pay the hospital and it came out to around $3000 USD. Luckily my mom paid for insurance and the insurance covered that!

Tried to find a photo of something funny and this is something funny I do as well. I like to balance new shoes on my head and take a photo

Anyways this is the story of the $3000 shit and this is 100% true and it's a story I will never forget.

I hope you had a good laugh and didn't cringe reading this story. Have a great weekend!

Lol...the title hints at the story but doesn't do it justice! Well done for this one, I like it. Were you embarrassed afterwards? I mean considering there was nothing wrong with you? A three thousand dollar shit...that's a first I'd say.

Hey thanks for your compliments. I'm glad you liked this post. I spent almost the whole day threading on leofinance and I think i ran out of brain juice to come up with a good title. Sorry about that :c.

As for the embarrassed part, ya if i recall I was but you know I tried to shake it off because i just wanted to get out of there and kind of not get noticed for being that idiot that came to the hospital to take a shit while others are maybe in more of a worse situation lol im glad i didnt take too much of their resources. it's something I want to forget but really it's impossible lol like you said it's a first and xD u can't forget things like these

You really need to find yourself more productive things to do by the sound of this.

As for the story, it was good of you to share it considering it is of a personal nature. Good on you for playing along.

haha it was productive. It was the last big points event for Leofinance's zealy campaign which was giving away 10k usd in prizes and 200k hive power delegation :P. Their event is ending in 11 hours and I pretty much done all the quests I could.

Thanks. I agree with you on being genuine and sharing things on a personal nature and trying to find owned photos to relate to the topic or taking one just to make it happen! This is how to bring out the quality posts that are unique to us by having that personal touch. At least this is what I try to do haha but can't be perfect.

OMG 😂. You made her pay 3k dollars for just taking a shit in the hospital? This is exactly why I hate going to Google when I have any strange symptom. I'll wait it out before concluding on what's wrong with me. Haha. I'm imagining the look on your mom's face that day.

Thanks for making me have a good laugh this weekend. A blissful weekend to you 💋

I was misdiagnosed with appendicitis many years ago as well. A poo didn't rescue me though, it was a 2nd test where the tech discovered that they had mixed up my sample with someone else. If they had removed my internal organs I suppose we could have sued them for a bunch of money even though said organ is useless. $3K for a hospital visit? I thought only USA had such ludicrous pricing.

Oh wow how much did you have to pay for this. . I mean I self diagnosed myself which isnt good but they confirmed it LOl so that's not good either

we didn't have to pay anything and the hospital was super friendly towards us and I presume this was because they were trying to avoid a lawsuit.

It would be pretty messed up of them to charge us for something they did wrong but hell, it's the USA medical system so they kind of get to do whatever they want. This was many years ago though and I think people were just generally nicer and more sensible in the 80's.

Oh I see. that's great then. They shouldn't charge you for their error that would be messed up and wouldn't look good for their hospital. OH 1980s im not even born yet lol. I'm not sure how people were like back then but wasn't it more racist back then no? Are people not nicer now:? or is it because there's too much freedom now and knowledge from the internet that make us not nice? O.O

but wasn't it more racist back then

It certainly didn't feel that way for me but I was a kid and wasn't really even aware of the concept of racism. It might have been, but not in my own life. The toxicity of the internet, which didn't exist at the time, probably has made a lot of things in life worse since then as far as people's attitudes are concerned.

OOOOO I see. then I'm not so sure I didn't live at your time and it also kinda depends where you lived if im not wrong. glad you lived in a great environment :D. It's true taht internet made things worse but at the same time it's great because if no internet there's no hive. :D just people find ways to do bad things with good things which is sad
