I'm annoying
Oh this topic brings me back memories of when I was growing up. My younger brother and I were like yin and yang. We were really the polar opposites of each other. He was super social and I on the other hand was super introvert. I think to this day we are super different. He likes it better in America and I like it better here in Malaysia. Even with all these differences I think when it came to gaming, anime and sports we shared these common interests.
Anyways back when we were maybe in our teens which I would say was around 12-16 years old, we did argue and fight quite a lot which most of the times was over stupid things. I'm not sure if this is normal with other brotherxbrother relationships.
I will admit probably most of these fights was from me doing something that annoyed him. For example, I was super competitive when it came to video games so I remember back then we played Super Smash Bros Melee, I was using an annoying combo in the game which got him angry and we ended up fighting. In addition to that, back then my brother was a bit sensitive when it came to words. I can't exactly recall what I said to him but it definitely was annoying and did trigger him sometimes which did end up with us getting into arguments/fights. I was also quite selfish and a bit egotistic back then too so I'm sure that was probably annoying to deal with as well.
All this is in the past and if we look back, we were both pretty immature back then. Sometime he reads my blogs so hopefully he reads this and understands. I hope he has forgiven me for all the bad things in the past that I did that was annoying , fighting etc. To be honest, we aren't super close we rarely chat with each other or see each other since we are across the world from each other. He's happily married now and doing great with his studies and career. I hope the best for him.
These are two photos of my younger brother and me probably over 6-7 years ago. In both photos, my brother is on the left and I'm on the right. You can see I was super skinny because this was the time when I moved out already so if you read my post from a few days you can really believe I was around 45kg back then!

Yes you are right. We are still brothers. Actually the last time we talked was like 2 months ago on discord when it was near his bday and I wished him happy birthday. We did catch up a little bit then recommended some animes for each other to watch but since then we haven't really talked.
I just took a look and I was the last one to leave a message and he didn't respond and usually I'm not the type to initiate or keep pushing a conversation so I figure he was busy or maybe not interested in chatting with me but it's all good.

Man, I think so your brother didn't mind any of that instead it might be good memories of life in his book.
I'm eldest and have 2 younger brother.. kind of all 3 are introvert type. Used to be immature and fight over games back when being a kid.
Sometimes being annoying is fun.. that's the kind of brotherhood, no matter how much we fight, annoy but still gotta stick together and respect or care for each other.

Yup but cared too much about winning if I went back maybe id let him win a few times haha.

Myself and my sibling that were 2 years apart fought constantly both physically and verbally. Even now 30 years later if we are around one another for more than a few days we will start to argue. That is just the way it is.
Wow this is crazy ahaha. My brother and I if we met I don't think we would have this issue anymore but we don't really see each other that much so that could be why as well . last time met him in real life was when he visited malaysia like two years ago x.x.
well it is important to keep your family special, even if you get on one another's nerves. With my siblings, there is almost nothing I wouldn't do for them and they feel the same way about me. We just get on each other's nerves after a few days and old emotions come out. We'll continue to have reunions every now and then but not very often.
I see. well it depends on everybody I think there' some peopl that also have that same case of not being close to each other anymore but still family . i think family is always special . at least my mom and stepdad visit almost every year to malaysia so I still see them but my brother doesn't come back because he's not a fan of malaysia
