Week 171: Love and forgiveness are inseparable and miraculous.

A phrase of reflection on love, somewhat philosophical was said by the multifaceted Peter Ustinov (actor, director, producer, writer, set designer, screenwriter, comedian, broadcaster, magazine writer and television host), the best Hercule Poiret in the history of cinema, and winner of the Oscar as supporting actor for his performance as Bataito (owner of a gladiator school) in Stanley Kubrick's mythical film Spartaco:

"Love is an act of endless forgiveness, a tender look that becomes habit."
-Peter Ustinov
-.

Forgiveness is rarely something easy and simple, it requires courage and strength, and when one loves, resentment disappears and reconciliation takes place.

Forgiveness is a fundamental issue in love, and if I relate it to the family environment, this is usually more demanding in the emotional area simply because we tend to have high expectations of the person we love, to whom we give our trust and our life.

We must be aware that as human beings we are prone to make mistakes, but love can heal everything, and it is also possible to transmit it through our gestures, including a look.

A tender look says how much you value the other person and can transmit how important their life is to you. This look can reach the bottom of the heart and tells the loved one that, in spite of what has happened, everything has a solution and you trust him/her.

This tender and understanding look prevents words of reproach from coming out of our mouth, even if what has been done to us is reprehensible, indicating to the other person that he/she is still worthy of our affection. There is no word of love that surpasses the love transmitted by a look of tenderness.

Loving and forgiving makes stress disappear, reduces the risk of contracting cardiovascular diseases and lengthens our life expectancy.

Loving and forgiving as a habit frees us from hatred, resentment and disappointment, and love can become a protective shield that frees us from hatred and anger.

Thanks for stopping by @mercmarg. It is complicated to forgive, but it really serves as a discharge mechanism to prevent you from feeling emotionally affected, we must not get carried away by grudges because we torture ourselves and often the other person is very calm and we are suffering. Greetings.

The one can easily get relaxed after forgiving someone who tortured and hurt. 😔

But it demands a lot of courage as you said above so there are very few people who gather this courage to forgive and forget this matter.

Love is a beautiful thing and all encompassing. Anyone who does not forgive is not loving. No one has no need for forgiveness, as such, we need to forgive others their mistakes too and then forge ahead

I totally agree with you @adoore-eu, we all have needed someone's forgiveness at some time, for the simple fact that we are human and we make mistakes and who forgives is able to give and receive much love, which is much needed these days. Greetings. I had not responded before because I got sick with labyrinthitis, I am better now.
