Who am I?

aš.jpg

I could say that I am a gamer. But I rarely play and have no ,,game''. So that description doesn't really fit me. Perhaps saying that I am a blogger or an artist is closer to the true? 7+ years experience... That has been defining my life for a long time. I continued to do those two things during good and bad times. During bear and bull markets. I intend to continue making art and blogging till the day I die. So I am more of an artist than a gamer.

Yet I believe that some other words describe me even better. Like a stubborn fool. But I prefer to be called a dreamer. Sounds better, right? The fact that I am still on Hive and am still making art despite selling only 5 physical pieces and 1 NFT in seven + years is proof enough that I am a dreamer. But other things indicate this as well. For instance not once but a few times I really liked a girl from some other country and wanted to meet with them. That is already a bizarre idea. But when you add facts that I am not good looking like Brad Pitt, rich like Musk, have never been outside of Lithuania, am not very confident in my english and I am not a talkative person/ people person...I think now you get the idea why those dreams were/ are crazy. And yet I have no intention in stopping chasing my crazy dreams.

I wonder though, do you have a sense of humour, what values are important to you - integrity, honesty, manners, discipline for instance - what do you value, what will you not compromise, do you take risks, possess a determination to grow and develop...it's those things and others like them that I believe a person should know about themselves.

I don't think that my sense of humour is great but perhaps I am underestimating myself because I rarely interact with others. Still sometimes I do make people laugh. I believe that honesty and integrity are necessary to build lasting trust. I try to be respectful. Especially to the elders. At some point I had posted in Hive for 2+ years(?) straight. But like you once said some of those posts were shitposts. Now I sometimes sacrifice the discipline of posting daily for what I see as a better quality of my posts. I value freedom, opportunity to improve. I also value a few connections I was able to create even though they are mostly online. I think that I take risks(sometimes foolish risks as well) all the time. I think almost any decision we make is a gamble and comes with some risks. Believing in something is a risk, investing is a risk, asking a girl out is a risk...I have done all those things. I believe in my art and crypto(Hive). And I have invested a lot of time, money and energy into both of them. I wanted to travel to a different country to meet a girl. I wasn't able to do that but I still wanted to take that absurd risk. I changed my art multiple times and each time had to learn new things and adapt to new situation. I haven't cashed out a single Hive yet because I believe that some day Hive will guarantee a comfortable life. I think that sticking with something despite possibility that it will go crashing down takes some determination. But then again. I thought that I have quit gambling by playing dice or cards multiple times. But each time I returned to gambling. Sometimes it turned out alright- some time ago I was able to power up maybe close to 2k(?) HP in one or few days. But I still probably lost more than I won. So I guess that in some cases I have that determination but in other aspects of my life lack it.

Sometimes making people laugh is better than never doing it so I guess build on that.

sacrifice the discipline of posting daily for what I see as a better quality of my posts.

Right on bro, keep this up!

I wanted to travel to a different country to meet a girl

I hear some of those Russian gals are hot as fuck! Maybe give Russia a try?

But each time I returned to gambling

Gambling is a dead end.

At this point I don't think that I would ever move to another country. Let alone russia. But if a hot russian girl would move to Lithuania that would be nice. But those days dating a russian girl could be problematic. I think that were are no direct flights to/ from russia. But maybe after the war situation will be better again. Maybe Hive will go to the moon at the same time as well. That way international dating would be friendly to my wallet...

I think I may quit doing that as well. I spend too much money every season renting cards. and if I want to sell a card fast I get a small part of estimated value...Also I am not able to keep up with all new pack releases.

I think about quitting splinterlands as well. Each season I pay 30+(?) euro for card rent. that seems like a lot to me. also if I want to sell a card fast I get only a small portion of estimated worth. And golden legendary cards come too rarely.

What a good description of how you are, and how you hope to be able to solve in the future with hive, I think many of us have put our hope in the future of hive.

I am sure you are not stupid at all for what you say in your description, you are very sincere and not everyone has that particularity to say things.

At this point I am convinced that if I will ever become rich/have enough money it will be only thanks to Hive because people are in no hurry to buy my paintings.

I really don't know what you are like as a player, but as an artist I value the quality of your work.
Many times, the quality of a painting can be seen many years after its creation and there are examples that prove it.

Being a dreamer is not a bad thing because it gives you the possibility to keep fighting to achieve a life goal.
Thanks for sharing.
Happy saturday.
Cheers and greetings.

Thank you. Few times I joked that to be successful I need to fake my own death. Jokes aside perhaps my creations will be more appreciated once I will be gone.

It is not really a sketch. That was probably my first attempt(years ago) to transfer a photo outline on the wood.
