Visit to Westfalenpark Dortmund

Greetings! Our weekend trip this time was to Westfalenpark in Dortmund. It was a beautiful day. The weather was warm but windy. We climbed the tower to appreciate everything this beautiful park has to offer from above. We also rode in flying chairs that go around completely, a very fun activity for the little ones. This park has a small rose garden, very beautiful and colorful; my favorite is pink. During the tour, we tried to see frogs swimming in the ponds where the plants grow. I've always found the plants that grow in ponds wonderful and interesting. I also wanted to see a frog perched on a leaf without it sinking, but we only saw one, which quickly jumped out and hid. On the other side of the park, there's a bandshell where they were playing live music. We sat there for a while listening to the band. They played retro music; they had an excellent repertoire! Then we went to eat German hot dogs to recharge our batteries and continue exploring the park because it's big and beautiful. At the end of the walk, we went to McDonald's to eat. We always go there to eat at the end of a trip or family outing because it's part of our routine. I hope you like the photos.
