What's to do on a weekend when the drinks are flowing.

What is your preferred beverage/drink when you go out and why?

The quick answer is beer but not just any beer. It has to have that crisp tangy taste that gets your tongue wet and your eyes have a little blur.

I've always preferred beer when the mood requires a calm drink with some good conversation or the ambience of the place is just right.

Normally these days when I go out in not looking for that club scene but I'm not and never will do away from a good dance club. I'd start with beer. Here in the Philippines I'm always drinking San Miguel Light or SML, most of my friend think it's a light alcohol drink because they are always trying to plug Red Horse on me in Tagay fashion.

Now back to the question at hand, my preferred beer when going out of beer because it's a great entry into other beverages for all the ages.

In fact my Saturday night was filled with San Miguel Light all the way through to about midnight and from there I switched to Long Island Tea. The palate was already set up for harder drinks but of course I switched back to beer again.

Extra. My all time favorite beer? Guinness draught. Best consumed as a starter and never a chaser to any other drink.
