Habe mittlerweile herausgefunden, wie man sich im Web-Browser sicher in Nostr einloggt, ohne den privaten Key auf Webseiten eingeben zu müssen, was ein Security-Albtraum ist.
Es gibt tatäschlich Browser-Extensions wie Hive Keychain oder Metamask für Nostr, die den NIP-07 Standard implementieren, nur wird das auf den Nostr-Frontends nicht erwähnt. Der Login-Button für NIP-07 erscheint auf snort.social erst dann, wenn man eine solche Extension installiert hat.
Primal.net, eines der besten web-basierten Nostr Front-Ends, hat nicht einmal einen Login-Button, sondern man kann sich nur mit einer NIP-07 Extension einloggen. Einen Hinweis dazu gibt es nicht.
Bin zufällig auf getalby.com gestoßen, da es viele Nostr-User in ihrem Profil als Bitcoin-Wallet eingetragen haben. Alby ist eine custodial Lightning-Wallet und eine Nostr NIP-07 Signing Extension, das heißt man kann sich mit Alby sowohl bei Nostr einloggen und hat auch gleichzeitig eine Lightning-Wallet, was sehr praktisch ist.
Bei getalby muss man vorher einen Alby-Account anlegen. Danach kann man in den Account-Settings der Extension, den privaten Nostr-Key eintragen.
Wenn man keine Lightning-Wallet benötigt, gibt es noch nos2x, das nur die Nostr-Authentifizierung implementiert hat.

In the meantime, I figured out how to securely log into Nostr in the web browser without having to enter the private key on web pages, which is a security nightmare.
There are actually browser extensions like Hive Keychain or Metamask for Nostr that implement the NIP-07 standard, it's just not mentioned on the Nostr front-ends. The login button for NIP-07 does not appear on snort.social until you have such an extension installed.
Primal.net, one of the best web-based Nostr front-ends, doesn't even have a login button, you can only login with a NIP-07 extension. There is no reference to it.
I came across getalby.com by accident, as many Nostr users have it listed as a bitcoin wallet in their profile. Alby is a Custodial Lightning Wallet and a Nostr NIP-07 Signing Extension, meaning you can log into Nostr with Alby and have a Lightning Wallet at the same time, which is very handy.
At getalby you have to create an Alby account first. After that one can enter the private Nostr key in the account settings of the extension.
If you don't need a Lightning wallet, there's also nos2x, which only has Nostr authentication implemented.

Berechtigter Einwand! Ist Nostr nicht so eine Art Twitter mit Coins? Sozusagen ein Vorläufer von Musks X?
Da der Tag nur 24 Stunden hat und ich, wenn Zeit und Lust vorhanden sind, auf Hive poste, würde mir Nostr derzeit nur Zeit stehlen. Trotzdem sollte man als Kryptojunkie die wichtigsten Entwicklungen zumindest im Auge behalten.

Nostr ist mehr eine Twitter-Alternative, Hive mehr Reddit/Medium ähnlich. Den größten Vorteil von Nostr sehe ich in der Skalierung, da es nicht Blockchain-basiert ist. Es ist einfacher einen Account anzulegen. Aber es gibt keinen Reward Pool. Hive ist ausgereifter, Nostr noch eher Beta-lastig.
Und dass Nostr auf Bitcoin LN setzt, während Twitter/X Dogecoin pusht. Das macht Nostr vor allem bei Bitcoinern und Krypto-Enthusiasten sehr beliebt.
Habe bissl rumgespielt mit Nostr und iris als Frontend dafür genutzt. Denke Alby bietet da eine richtig gute Lösung mit dem integrierten Lightning-Wallet.

Finde Nostr als Twitter-Alternative spannend, da es auf Bitcoin aufbaut und dezentral / zensur-resistent ist, es hat auch ein gewisses Momentum in der Krypto-Community, vor allem nach dem Chaos bei tw, viele haben sich dort angemeldet, um es einmal zu testen. Ob man dort einsteigen soll? Denke, dass muss jeder selbst entscheiden ;)

I still haven't bothered with Nostr but I think it's a move most crypto platforms should do. It doesn't make sense to have people put down their actual keys and cause security concerns.
