Denke es war nur eine Frage der Zeit, bis wir nach Bitcoin auch Ethereum-ETFs sehen, aber dass es jetzt so schnell geganen ist, ist für viele überraschend gekommen.
Mit der Entscheidung der SEC, hat die SEC indirekt auch klargestellt, dass Ether (ETH) kein Wertpapier ist, was eigentlich die größere News ist.
Denke, dass es für den Krypto-Space eine gute Entscheidung ist, aber manche befürchten jetzt, dass sich mit institutionellen Anlegern Ethereum noch weiter zentralisieren wird, vor allem wenn diese beginnen, Ethereum zu staken.
Was sagt ihr zur Entscheidung der SEC? Dreht sich der Wind in den USA vor den US-Wahlen, haben Politiker Krypto-Anleger als wichtige Wählerschaft erkannt? Wie denkt ihr, geht es mit ETH weiter?

After the Bitcoin ETFs, the SEC has now surprisingly approved Ethereum ETFs. The bigger implication is that ETH is not a security.
I think it was only a matter of time before we saw Ethereum ETFs after Bitcoin, but the fact that it has now happened so quickly has come as a surprise to many.
With the SEC's decision, the SEC has also indirectly clarified that Ether (ETH) is not a security, which is actually the bigger news.
Think it's a good decision for the crypto space, but some now fear that with institutional investors, Ethereum will become even more centralized, especially if they start staking ETH.
What do you think of the SEC's decision? Are the winds shifting in the US ahead of the US elections, have politicians recognized crypto investors as an important constituency? What do you think how will ETH develop from here?

Once the Bitcoin ETF is approved, it is normal for the others to be approved. I think there will be many more, at least the first 20 crypto by capitalization.

I think there will be some other ETF on the leading cryptos.
With Ether-ETF volatility of Ether should reduce, I think/hope so.
I won’t be surprised to see other cryptocurrencies get approved as long as Bitcoin ETF is already approved
This is very interesting, I really thought they would either never do it, or take much longer with it.
Diese einschätzung empfinde ich als katastrophe, ETH und all die anderen altcoins (die ja dann folgen werden) sind keine rohstoffe sondern gewinnorientierte unternehmungen, somit MÜSSEN sie als wertpapiere eingestuft werden.
Einzig und allein kann man Bitcoin als rohstoff sehen.
Wenn das wirklich so durchgeht ist eine blase die x fach so groß sein wird wie die zur dotcom zeit vorprogrammiert, das würde ein desaster unglaublichen ausmaßes für die kleinanleger die da blind reinstolpern.

Denke, die Behörden wissen auch noch nicht so recht, wie sie mit den Kryptos umgehen sollen. Denke aber nicht, dass jetzt reihenweise Altcoin ETFs genehmigt werden.

Cryptos are already integrated into the financial market. I don't know if that's good or bad for us.
I also think the approval is as a result of the upcoming elections and yes, this is a great news for Cryptoverse.

Die 'big boys' (z.B. Blackrock) setzen neben BTC u.a. auch auf ETH. Es war daher nur eine Frage der Zeit bis ETH aus der Kategorie "Wertpapiere" entfernt wird. Die Entwicklung Richtung ETFs ist klar; die Verwässerungstaktik lässt Wall Street jonglieren, so wie es auch mit Derivaten der Fall ist.

Sämtliche ETFs mussten die Option entfernen das dieser ETH staken. Also ist dieser Gefahr schon mal minimiert.

I think it was bound to happen given how much money was in ETH to start with. They want to make it a part of the system and the money will be done in the US dollar for them.
I am so sure that this approval of the Ethereum ETF will certainly help the coin to rise in more value
