Another Kennedy For The Stack!
What's up plebs?!
It's been a while since my last post, about a month or so. Nothing special, just wanted to take a break from everything to enjoy life, empty my head etc etc.
No idea yet if I will return back to my regular daily posting or not. I do want though to keep posting all the fresh silver stuff I am getting.
Spreaking of silver, here are some photos of my latest treasure:
Kennedy half dollars are amongst my favorite coins to stack, especially when I can get them around spot like this one.
Unfortunately, this one is from 1966 which means it's only 40% silver. Oh well, still a beautiful piece!
Ok, I think this is it for today. I will be posting lots of new silver stuff in the coming days so stay tuned if you like precious metals 🤗

It's fascinating to think about how the legacy of past Kennedys, especially John F. Kennedy and Robert F. Kennedy, could shape how people view things today.
40% silver is still silver, and that's what counts. Great find there. I hope you decide to get back into posting more, I've missed your posts!

Kennedy half dollars. I think everyone in the U.S. who was around when he was assassinated has had one of those coins. It's kind of a sentimental thing.
One of the last good presidents perhaps? Dunno, still a really beautiful coin especially the side with the presidential seal
It is a beautiful coin. When he was shot, the nation was stunned. I was in high school and they announced it over the loudspeaker. I don't remember if we were let out early or not, but the emotional impact of that young president being murdered in the prime of his life was powerful. The JFK assassination for many people in the U.S. became a turning point, sort of a loss of innocence. We were already disillusioned by the fiasco at Bay of Pigs, and by the burgeoning Vietnam War. But still, this president and his family held a spell over much of the country. The shots that killed him struck all of us in a way.
Sorry for the long response...my mind goes back to those days.
