Another Bluesail For The Stack

What's up plebs?!

Check out this little beauty I scored today on Facebook market for spot:

This is a silver coin we have actually seen a few times, 10 Canadian cents. This one was minted in 1951 and if memory serves me right it's my third or fourth coin of this type.

Quick reminder, it's 2.33 g of 0.800 purity.

Let's see some more photos I took:

As you see it's not in the greatest condition, chances are it has been touched by thousands of hands before reaching mine :)

It's ok, I don't mind. After all I really like ship coins so it's a fine addition.

In case you wonder, the ship featured is the bluenose, a fishing and racing gaff rig schooner built in 1921 in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, Canada.

In other news, it's been a while since I last checked the price of silver. Let's see how it's doing:

32,62 $ per usd. Slowly creeping up since I started stacking about 5 years ago. I won't complain, it could be higher but at least it won't rug anytime soon, lol.

Ok friends, this is it for today!

As always, see you soon with more shiny!

Too bad it's not in great conditions, the ship new shiny probably was very nice

I was thinking about buying up all those dimes on sale I have been seeing pop up here and there

It's going to be surprisingly high by next year!

Nice coin, I used to find Canadian pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters in my change in the US as a kid. Never the silver stuff though. You can't go wrong with silver even if it's small!

Nice find! I don't know that people can get to see nice stuff like this on facebook. I can say that this 1951 Canadian 10-cent coin looks cool, even with the wear. It's great to see you're adding more silver to your stack.

Nice ship. It might not be in the best condition, but silver is silver. The price has gone up quite a bit lately.

Love 'em.
But my favorite local coin keeps running out of them and I'd often get a better price than Ebay can. A hot item in my town, shiny or not quite shiny.

Mid 2022 seems to have been the best time to stack😂😂

chances are it has been touched by thousands of hands before reaching mine, I can see that already. A 75 year old coin, this particular one was really in day to day transaction

Ρε μα γράφεις ακόμα;

I once asked an economist or finance person or smt how much one euro is worth, in euro.

He said 1 euro = 1 euro. 🤦‍♂️

I had to explain that everything is worth the most anyone is willing to pay for it, and one of the examples I gave was that of coin collectors.

chances are it has been touched by thousands of hands before reaching mine :) It's ok, I don't mind.

Very 70s attitude :P

I like what you're saying. The coin isn't in the best condition, and YOU'RE fine with it. What I'm trying to say is: We can never make everyone happy. It's actually absurd to think about it. So, it's better to worry about yourself. Sometimes people forget that time in this world is short, and they waste their time on nonsense instead of thinking about themselves. That's my humble opinion.
