Selling ourselves to the world is equally important
Hive needs more marketing campaign
Recently we had a party, and a friend came with few of these small bottles of my favorite drink, which was surprising for me - what, they have started packing in these small bottles ? Yes, because that offers them more selling potential. Earlier, it used to come in only big package of 750ml, and the price being on a little higher side, the company probably realized that, there is a hindrance in thought process of people to buy that, and came up with this idea. After all, who wants to buy a big bottle and keep it, and consume few sips !! Keeping it at home is even a challenge for many :), so a nip is a perfect fit for drinking once. And if you want more, then you can buy another small nip, but the big one not only pinches our pocket, at one go, but also creates bottleneck to store it. So they are selling the same product, but their innovation is in adding convenience, that creates big impact.
So a company like Chivas established more than a century ago ( 1801), even came up with this small innovation, that created big impact. They know they are popular, but that alone does not suffice to compete in the market.
So what's the point of this post ? We need to sell ourselves better and in today's world, that is more important than anything else. Today I was reading this post - this potentially will bring plethora of opportunities to hive - specially smart contracts that will open up a new world of possibilities.

So we are not far from many other chains, that are popular than hive, in fact, we are even superior in some aspects, But we have not been able to sell ourselves well and that is why I always feel, we need dedicated marketing campaign. Apart from great development, we should utilize some DHF Funding and create some marketing ads (including all our capabilities from all dapps / teams) and run them across several other places to let the world know about our capabilities. Hopefully, our whales realize this sooner (DHF funding is possible only if they agree), and innovate something to sell ourselves better. Those who are already in this network will always get the news, but we need more participants from outside. You can invent a great product, but at the end, if you cannot sell it, then there is no point - the world just moves on.

Any great product is useless if it has no consumers. There umis definitely a need of better marketing in order to bring Hive to the limelight it deserves
Yes I think hive needs a full fledged marketing campaign and being old users on hive we will have to play a vital role.
I have already started publicity of #hive among my friends. I have invited three new users and they created their accounts on hice and threespeak. Now they are inviting new users....
So we should make this platform a worldwide platform.
Although there is no doubt that we are great, at the moment we are not even able to retain our current investors/users properly. We are getting away from the true meaning of decentralisation. So I think first we need to make some improvements in ourselves on a very serious note, and then since your idea is very good, we can also run active marketing campaigns outside Hive, which will definitely take this platform to new heights.
That's not right, we are not getting away, but we need to showcase ourselves.
Bhai, don't mind, but due to the conspiracies that were going on a few months ago, @alokkumar121 bhai had to leave this platform, and recently also after what happened with some 7-8 years old reputed users, mujhe nahi lagta रेत mein sar daalkar all is well kehne se yahan all well ho jata hai.

this is what these big whales needs to know who are getting HBD from campaigns, we need more real work marketing.
And we are talking about it from Day 1ST, when the Hive was Born.
I've never actually had Chivas before. I honestly didn't know it was a blended Scotch. I mostly stick to American whiskies and bourbon, but I am starting to expand out into Scotches. I think there are a lot of things we should be spending DHF funds on versus what we currently spend them on!
Try Chivas once ,you will love it, specially 18 or 24 years.
I'll have to pick some up at Costco next time I am there!
Hive is a great platform
The only thing it lacks is awareness and popularity which can be done by everyone especially the fore fronters of Hive who have a vast knowledge about cryptocurrency…
This must be one of the best whiskeys, and its brand is very popular. It's evidently a marketing department that's doing its job well, and you react to different circumstances. It's great to see this drink in small containers.
#Hive is excellent, and we're ahead of many companies, but as you say, few know it, and we need to make ourselves known.

The truth is that you have to find a way to reach that audience that is there and for whatever reason is not seeing the future, it is within your reach with HIVE
The only way is to promote Hive on Web2

Small whisky bottles is good, sometimes you just want a little, not a whole big one haha. Hive should try smart ideas like that too because small steps can bring big changes
It's why we need to find smarter ways to utilize the DHF, rather than leaving it unguarded and unchecked
Well, now more than ever, with the inclusion of social media, we know that marketing is extremely important for improving our sales. The key word is innovation, my friend, you are right, and well, if it can be done through a marketing campaign, it will surely benefit us all in a short time.
This is really something to think about. Marketing hive to the general world is ideal. I think something similar to what @lordbutterfly and @verbal-D is doing in Vibes Web 3 Music Competition can help in projecting and inviting more people to hive. In that community, the contest is juicy and lures in many new on boarders. This issue of posting a promo video on Web 2 platform makes it more results bound.
