Friday Feeling

Woke up this Friday feeling extremely exhausted and didn’t feel like doing anything, when bruno mars sang that song (Lazy song) I was really young and I never understood how it felt until I grew way older and became an adult. Being a crypto investor, earning and surviving off crypto, the crypto market movement affects my mood after every little gains or little losses. This is because, when the crypto investment I have an investment in starts tanking, my earning value will tank as well and no one likes it when their earnings are reduced. The crypto market has been in the bear market for a long time now, almost two years now, its a general thing, you close your eyes now, the value of your investment is having a 10% loss by the day.

While having the lazy feeling and trying to enjoy my morning, I decided to do some airdrop tasks, who knows I might just get a huge airdrop from the tasks, the task involved bridging some tokens from one chain to another using a secondary bridging platform called bungee, it was a mandatory limited task, I wanted to try because it comes with a layer 3 NFT. Layer 3 is supposed to be a task to earn platform where you earn XP points for completing tasks, but right now all you do is earn XP points, no one knows what the XP points will be worth in the future, but I am doing them. I thought it was going to be an easy task that will cost me less than $5, unfortunately I ended up spending $14 doing the task. That was not how I planed to start my morning, but then, its crypto one random task you did a long time ago can change your mood in the future with an airdrop. I have experienced it before.

Hunting airdrops have been really exciting and depressing sometimes, because, you spend a lot of money through gas fees and transaction fees because you are hoping it rewards you in the future. Some times you spend money you dont have, sometimes you spend money you didn’t plan to spend, but at the end we are hoping the rewards come. Its a bear market they say, use the opportunity to build so you can reap the fruit in the bull market they said, I have been building in this bear market hoping I reap abundant fruit later on. Because, I reaped a lot of arbitrum airdrop for claiming arbitrum airdrop, I hope to see such opportunities later. So this is just a Friday post reminding myself not to give up as I have been spending a lot hunting for airdrops.
