Happy Canada and HPUD Day, goodbye Binance.

Put your devices on dark mode again as I and many Canadian Cryptoids mourn the loss of Binance. Yes, our illustrious Prime Minister Justin Castro Trudeau, always eager to do a great job for his WEF handlers celebrated by showing Binance the door.

The loss of Binance does close off my primary access to market. I'm not a day trading kind of person. I prefer to simply Buy and Hold while keeping in mind a few conditions, such as a good opportunity like acquiring a passive income generating asset, or God forbid an emergency need that requires me to liquidate should all my other options be exhausted. It's basically the same End Game structure with my Precious metals portfolio.

I don't think it will get to that extreme, but I will think about my options storing my portfolio away in cold wallets over the next few weeks. There's time and we'll find other ways to trade.

The Canadian Maple Leaf silver bullion $5 coin is at the foundation of my silver stack. Recognized as Legal tender anywhere in Canada and was the first four 9s bullion widely available and popular in the international market.

Already went through that with Binance. Atomic wallet is where I store most of my stuff. I am going to buy a couple cold storage coins for Bitcoin and Litecoin though.

I actually got this notification two weeks ago. It was a good party while it lasted and found trading rather fun. They're cutting off the escape routes that keep us trapped to their fiat slave dollars. Crypto will come back with a vengence over CBDCs. And Silver and gold are gonna rock!

Happy Cananda Day to you! That sucks about Binance, this regulation stuff is making crypto hard to cash out (not that I intent to.) I love those Maple Leaf's, pretty and shiny! It's kind of sad that they have to put security measures on silver coins now, to many fraudsters in the world today...

We knew it was coming. It happen in Quebec first until the Federal government made it country wide. There will ways to trade crypto even as the Canadian Big banks getting their undeserved cut. We may be ahead of the curve in terms of adoption but life will turn painfully hard on those who didn't prepare. Stackin Crypto, gold and silver!
The small Maple leaf does appear like a Privy mark.
Sometimes the security feature enhances the over all design.

The silver Maple Leaf is pretty. I am going to have to pick some up eventually. For now my handoff plan is to give my collection to my youngest son and the silver stack is to my oldest son for now. Things may change as the youngest's interests in collecting changes and my stack grows.

Regular reviews of Estate and succession planning are important. Our children may not take these seriously at first but things could change. We hope they could understand when the time comes so they will know what to do and have a solid plan.

I hate running outta room! I know the feeling. Maple Street episode posted 🎥 And “Nightmare At 20,000 feet” is next! I just saw a commercial for the new twilight zone on Sci-fi channel. (SYFY). It can’t touch original and I’d vote it sucks. Without Rod there is no TZ. The only episode worth watching is from the second remake from around 1999-2001. There’s a sequel to “It’s A Good Life” with same actor playing the mom and little Anthony. It’s not great writing but it’s worth watching since it’s same two main cast members and interesting. You have seen that one right?

Happy #hpud @nkemakonam89 Losing access to BInance is temporary, there will be other ways to trade if I really need to. I'll just do a little tweaking before puting most of my coins into cold wallets. I feel blessed to have a decent portfolio position.

I heard a rumor about something like the Binance stuff in my country but then it was countered later. Would Canadians find a way around it like we do? Or would they have to really switch to another exchanger?

I have other Cryptos.
My #hpud Hive are coming from Binance as I liquidate my reserve BUSD position. I have plenty of time before they put my account on Sightseeing mode and I can take my time to find alternate exchanges. I'm more a HODLer so my portfolio is basically set unless I want to add more to my holdings.
It will depend on how Crypto lobbists in Ottawa do in establishing a middle ground balance on terms of privacy vs compliance, it's a tough job.
My guess on what would likely happen is that only our BIG Banks will be allowed trade certain Cryptos and charge a big crazy fee for the service. 😑

Yes, it's a war on Crypto and the governments don't like anyone competing against their worthless fiat. It's now turning out to be more a war on who controls the trade of crypto as Regulation is sweeping aside all private exchanges and putting the Exchange business into the hands of the big banks and institutions. Ugh.
As far as Hive Engine is concerned, I'm running enough SWAP.DOGE so I won't need to put anymore in. Woof woof.

Thanks for dropping in. @usagigallardo015 I'm closing in on 16,000 HP and 1300 HBD soon, I enjoy giving out much more substantial upvotes than 'dust' back before 2021. I got lucky on a Crypto bet and multiplied my capital in the spring of 2021. Hive now represents almost half my portfolio thanks to the Trading knowledge I learned here. I hope you can also find success on Hive in any form.
