Unveiling Twitter's Restrictions: Understanding and Avoiding Twitter/X's Limits

avatar

I recently cancelled my X subscription, but in my limited free time I am experimenting with an old, alt account of mine. I want to see if I can increase my views/reach and potentially be able to proceed to monetization.

That account is a very old one, and it does not even have 200 followers because I was never so font of it. I had it mostly for tests.

Anyways, it would be suspended without reason in the past and I ve always managed to un-suspend it.

But especially since I ve started using it a bit more, I have been locked out of it at least 10 times (in the past week)

So I thought to check out the limitations of X, so that I can remember them and avoid exceeding the limits :)

I hope it will also be helpful for you!

What you should keep in mind:

The daily limits are further broken down into smaller limits for semi-hourly intervals

Please note: This post is written on the 22nd of February 2024- so make sure to check out this link for any more recent updates

Have you ever been suspended or locked out of your account?
What's your opinion on the 'prove you are a human' choices of X?

Today it took me a couple of minutes to understand what they were asking for!

I hope this post was useful, feel free to share your tips or experience below :)

I have never gone through the limits on X but I think these are too much for a user like me.

Today I understood that I may have exceeded the follow limit - I am sure I followed more than 10 people in half an hour (several times)

I actually dislike the fact that there are limitations on X
It is really tiring

Yes, but they do need them.
There are so many bots and scammers, and they need to be limited in a way

Since the pandemic a few years ago. Twitter got really ugly.
I've experienced IP, IMEI (SIM number), phone number, MAC and probably the phone serialnumber blocking with twitter... I went to length with spoofing and using various vpn's, disposable phonenumbers to get an acoount. All because I followed a few people. Didn´t post much on twitter, it became my news feed at that time.

It was a ride🤣
